I have most of my settings maxed out but some parts of the skybox are very low rez, during the blowout, when the sky transitions, the skybox get pixelated. Most of the time the sky looks great.

I just started playing Phobos and I really enjoy the mod so far. I like the ambient sound design and overall atmosphere, you guys nailed it. I'm a big DooM fan and when I heard how long it took to create this project I just had to check it out.

Tried it today and the combat AI is not that smart. The mod looks and sounds really good though.

I tried the 1024 textures and, and it does look better , 5 minutes into the game, it crashed. Haven't seen this error:

DX9 Enhanced

The sky box turns flat , low-res during rainy weather. Has anyone else noticed that? It just looks blotchy.

Has anyone found radaway or rad-x in vault 18?

I used vortex to install, works fine so far.

I did a manual search for my card and it only goes back to May. Anything older is incompatible. I'm playing it on full DX9 and it load so much faster, it's a lot smoother too. I know you said that only DX8 and DX11 are the ones that should be used but those oval scopes were a game breaker for me.

I was able to force it to 1080 by not using DX11.

That's just what I did, killed them for some loot. So, should I just get the docs and hand them in and complete the mission in one take? That's my plan. I read some of the posts earlier, and have to say this mod has the best spawns and AI in any Stalker game ever.

As soon as I accept the mission, I get a broken dialogue message in the hud. The log was empty. I did kill the mercs.

I'm unable to save after accepting mission from Hermann to retrieve docs from Jupiter Plant. Game crashes "applilcation has stopped working" message. No x-ray engine type crash. It was working fine up until now. Been using hard saves throughout my playthrough.

It doesn't give me the black bars on top like I want to, just goes to windowed mode. Scopes look oval in 16:10 aspect ratio, that's why I wanted to change it.I remember I used to be able to do it when I played the 2.20 version.

Is there a way to force the game into 1920x1080 resolution in a 1920x1200 monitor? I tried editing the user.ltx and tmp.ltx files but it's not working.

No third party antivirus/malware. Followed your instructions, didn't play vanilla though, just saved it once. I've reinstalled misery already, so looks like it's time to reinstall windows. Thank you for the suggestions.

Playing full screen. i6600k, 16GB Ram, Gtx 1070, Windows 8.1 64bit. I have no third party apps running in the background and no antivirus/spyware apps installed. The game never crashes either. Really strange.
