The Options tool works as a launcher. You can start AotR from there

Hast du denn die aktuellste Version von 2.02?

1. Go to your Roaming folder
2. Create a folder and name it "My The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king Files"
3. Copy all your ini files from your existing folder to the new one

The reason for these errors is that the AotR Options is looking for the english folder and you probably installed the game in a different language. Since the game will only update the ini files in your original folder you will have to copy them every time you want to check your stats until this problem is fixed.

You can use the AOTR options program to create custom maps with adventure factions on it. I think this tutorial shows how you can add units (and heores) to factions. Probably not compatible with Multiplayer.

You need to click on the "locate" buttons. Then you have to go to the folders.

Locate AotR folder: You need to go to your AotR installation and when you are inside the "aotr" folder click "choose folder"

Locate roaming folder: Go to drive C, then Users, then your profile name, then App Data, then Roaming, then My Rise of the Witch-King files, then click "choose folder"

Locate ROTWK folder: Your base game folder, normally Programs x86, then Electronic Arts, then Rise of the Witch-king

After that you have all the oprions you can choose from

Also bei mir wurde noh nie ein Virus bei Age of the Ring erkannt. Vielleicht funktioniert es mit einem anderen Browser.

You should have AotR 8.1 options on your desktop (or in the mod folder). There you can selet a map and adventure factions to create your own adventure maps

Ich nehme an, dass du kein Programm zum Entpacken der Dateien hast. Du brauchst WinRar oder ein ähnliches Programm dafür

Hey, du solltest sie ohne Probleme installieren können. Aber sehr viele Strings werden dann nicht vorhanden sein und da steht dann nur etwas mit Missing String so und so. Die Version 6.0 für AotR 8.0 sollte innerhalb der nächste Woche fertif werden. Du musst selbst entscheiden, ob du lieber wartest oder es auspropierst. Du kannst ja die entsprechenden Dateien absichern vorher und bei Bedarf zurück kopieren.

Hey, die Übersetzung ist noch nicht aktualisiert für Version 8.0 von Age of the Ring. Bin aber schon fleißig dabei.

die Übersetzung ist nur für Texte. Da sollte soweit auch alles auf deutsch sein. Die englischen Stimmen kommen daher, dass viele neu sind und nie auf deutsch existiert haben. Die deutschen kommen daher, dass du das Spiel auf deutsch installiert hast. Ich habe schon darüber nachgedacht mal ein Projekt zu starten, um Synchronstimmen für alles zu finden, aber ich habe das Geld für professionelle Sprecher nicht. Und gerade die Originalstimmen der Schauspieler (Beispiel Aragorn) wären sicherlich nicht billig.
Also KÖNNTE es in Zukunft eine Lösung dafür geben, aber voraussichtlich wird es langfristig so bleiben.
