Did you even read the mod desc? The guy just wanted to create something before L4D came out.

And who are you to argue against his choice of mod name? Considering the focus of the mod, I think it's a pretty decent name.

I'm not sure what you're talking about though - on their FAQ is states that the voices in the story are English. Only the commentaries are in French.

Could just be me, but after trying to run the program 4 or 5 times, I crashed about 2-5 minutes in each time. What kind of system specs did you say this mod expected?

Now when you say you've fixed sniper rifle aiming, does this mean that when I shoot someone, they'll actually GET SHOT?

If so, that's the greatest fix ever and will warrant a re-download from me.

Alright well since it hasn't really been said anywhere... Apparently you must download .01, followed by .02, .03, etc.

I'd actually be happy if they did. Unless their backing changed the entire mod, they'd release sometime probably Q2 or Q3 2009, and we'd see some Black Mesa already. :)

I think it's sad that the mod that has won best upcoming mod of the year for two years in a row takes six months to update the community on the status of their progress.

The only reason people are becoming disgruntled is because all the hype surrounding your mod is just that. It's JUST HYPE. Because you don't let anything get out for people to see and get their hands on. Hype for a while might be a good thing, but hype for 3-4 years is just too much for people to take, as is quite apparent by the recent comments on this board.

Frankly, the lack of updates appears to me as though the mod may not be a mod any longer, but rather a commercial product.

Don't get me wrong, I'm behind you guys 110%, but your PR is horrible!

Great game! Addictive and fun for all the same reasons those flash/java games on miniclip are.

Depends on the most part where you get hit, I think. Sometimes I survive a single hit or two. Usually I just die when I get shot though.

Very cool. I've been waiting patiently for a Geo-Mod type of gameplay to come out of the Source engine for quite a while now. Keep it up!

I was talking mainly about things like the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series of games. As far as I know those were based solely on PC.
