Yeah, that annoys me too. The AI seem to also be able to shoot through tin walls in the game with perfect accuracy too. It's just something that's coded into the game, I don't think the AI are able to "see" foliage or thin walls during a firefight, although when sneaking they work just fine.

Thanks! Yes, the mod will most likely be released with Steam/Retail Fortunes Pack and non-Fortunes Pack. I might also do a compile-your-own-version release with only the modded files included so that users experiencing problems after trying every version can compile their own modded files.

I've included some instructions in the mod readmes on how to use the editing tools, and the info you are looking for is in the gamemodesconfig file in the engine/gamemodes folder.

That...is an interesting suggestion. It would be interesting to see some enemies with just pistols instead of rifles, mainly vehicle crews. I'll test it out.

Hmm. Try a clean install, and then install the patches. New version is almost available (waiting for authorisation), so try that before you uninstall the game.

I increased the reliability, because the weapons you get from the arms dealers are new, shiny, and oiled, and they shouldn't turn to a brick of rust in a day. The weapons that the militia carries are still rusty and dirty though, and they still explode, just not as fast.

If I knew where to change vehicle speeds and stamina, I would have done it already. It's probably not in that gamemodesconfig file at all.

I meant that I opened up a forum. I'll email Ubisoft about it. I probably can't fix it though, since the code for respawning based on map sectors is deep in the games scripting.

I don't think there is a way to change RPM. I think the spedometer and tachometer were just designed to go up when you pressed W and down when you pressed S. Nice obeservation, though.

The AI catching up thing is hardcoded into the game, all I could do was decrease the chance that they will chase you.

As for sniping, make sure you take out the important people first. Machine gunners go first, and then blow up some barrels to create confusion. If you can sneak in without them seeing you, the NPCs that are still alive will panic and start crying to go home, among other things. Guess you shouldn't have been trying to blow up children from the PetroSahel, merc scum.
