omg all those self damage bs...
you're going to be dying a lot playing with this mod and most of the time it will be because of self damage. all your weapons do self damage and will kill you faster than they kill your enemies. especially the royalstorm's thunderbolt round altfire. that thing randomly targets you instead of the enemies. and it's not like it's targeting some enemies and you happen to be caught in the middle or something, it deliberately targets you at random, it's ridiculous.

this project is wandering off further and further away from its initial goal, it's nerver going to be released at this rate.

what's with all those backstabbing portals?
a few times is okay, i'd consider it variety. but this many times and this often? you're half way through the BS territory here.

well i'm a kind of guy who plays all the way through for each mods combination and editing the config file isn't that much of a nuisance. as the config file is in the same folder as the source port itself. the rest is just copy all the mod files to the same folder, copy the file names and paste them in the config file.
i used to think about making pretty much the same thing as this application but due to how easy it is to do it this way, i ditched the idea.

eh... i don't use any. having to launch a launcher every time is annoying. i just edit the config file, that way i can just launch the source port right away.

i see you're a bit sensitive when it comes to game design... just like me
1. i got stuck in that area too, i used noclip to scout around and found that the monsters were spawned in another room which i couldn't get in because obviously, the mod locked all the doors before the wave even started
2. the mod lets you resurrect... just punishes you by starting over and saves immediately if you don't have any save other than the autosave, you're screwed. actually, i think it's a bit of a dickmove to punish the player for cheating a single-player game. how a player plays it is none of the dev's business, it's a single-player game!! i gave it 10/10 initially but when i found out about this cheat-proof thing, i stopped playing it immediately. well no i didn't stop, i quit and i gave it a finger and now it's not just 0/10, it's far below that.
3. reduce the resolution scale and turn off all the eye-candies is the best advice i can give you

p.s. when i play a single-player game, i just want to have fun with myself i don't give a finger about your no-cheat gaming or any bullcrap gaming ideology thing. i really don't understand why none of the brilliant game developers who can make something like a complex, good-looking video game just can't figure out something this simple.

it's the way the arenas were designed. while the enemies keep spawning you don't have any cover. while lost souls keep pestering you, the hitscan-based enemies will keep chipping away your health until you die and the worst are revenants, their homing projectiles to be specific. as i said you don't have any cover, they'll hit you eventually. basically it's a shitshow, you have too many things to handle at once so that area is pretty much a guaranteed death trap at least for now. unless you're playing with an absolutely OP mod like russian overkill or guncaster with at least 2 or 3 mana shield tomes.

this mod (with that much gameplay modification, i'm not gonna call it a map pack) utilizes ALL of gzdoom graphical features and gzdoom is not very optimized due to several technical limitations. so in order to play it smoothly you'll need to either
1) bump the graphic settings down or
2) upgrade you computer (i mean... a lot like getting a gtx 1080 or something like that)
as for me, i reduced the resolution scale (this option has quite a lot of impact on the performance) turnoff vsync, tonemapping and bloom and the framerate is pretty much more acceptable while still retaining most of the mod's aesthetics, not stutter-free but playable. your card seems to be a lot better than mine so try poking around the graphic settings first if it's just not enough, then you need a new card.
