Hopefully the stability will be easy to fix.
I had only problems with economy at the beginning. But I think I was able to play normally. Few trading posts on Ivory Coast fixed it.
The upkeep seems to be all over the place. Halberdier upkeep cost around 1000+, which makes them really hard to use for low income countries like Dutch. Dutch also has this Holland regiment, that has worse stats than heavy pikemen, but they seem to have higher upkeep.
I think these changes are minor though and they can be done individually. It doesn't break the expirience or anything.

Bugs, well there's that New Holland bug, which suddenly deconstructs all buildings in New Holland after a while. (I also have a suspicion that this bug also happens on French Guyana, but I'll have to seize that territory to check for myself)
Aside from that, the UI with decisions, conspiracies and coinage is a bit finnicky, but it's playable.
The upkeep for some units is really high though and I don't know if it's intentional or not.
But now I'm just nitpicking.
I think I've spend more turns on this mod than on any other Empire mod. It's a lot of fun.
I will wait, don't worry. Right now I'm at year 1636 and so far no major bugs.
(Aside from New Holland deconstructing everything after few turns)
Either way, I'm enjoying the mod a lot and I'll gladly follow your progress and wait for next updates :)
