When games like this is made you worry, Dominions 3 was very good and fine-tuned, and it is easy to break a game like that, even when you set out to improve it, but they really have, stuff have been streamlined, more magic, nations and items, all fitting well within the old system, what they have changed only fixes problems, some most players did not even know existed or considered problems.
All in all, this is a step from very good to damm near perfect, WELL worth the money if it is the type of game you like.
