So has this been abandoned in favor of the kickstarter project?

Just a quick question. I live in a capitalist "democracy"
(I don't really see how voting once every four years for the lesser evil of two parties is democracy, but hey, who am I to decided how I want to be governed?)

So can I not join this group, even though I hate my country, 90% of my countrymen(unfortunately, for a developed country, the average Australian seems to be mind numbingly stupid) , the Westminster system & anything else which puts restrictions on my rights & liberties?

(p.s Athens was the only democracy ever; 510BC - 411BC / 403BC - 322BC)
