Boy and His Pup is More Fire Games first game in development. Its a perma-death tower defense game for the iOS, Android and the web. You play the main character, Boy, in which you defend yourself from the constant punishment of a supernatural horde.

We've been diligently converting the game to a new physics engine from box2D to Nape. With the change we will be able to get smooth gameplay across PC and iOS. Smooth movement and playability is most important to us and a key factor in creating a fun experience. It’s pretty awesome to see how far the game has evolved. The game is now running and performing well on an android tablet.
With that, we are planning on adding a pretty cool feature for the PC version of the game. Stay tuned for that information at a later date. :) We've also have given the game a new reshaping and updated the games visuals.
New enemies!Strong-arm is a very fast opponent and a relentless attacker.
DJ Zombie is a character that likes to keep his distance. Be careful when engaging this range foe!
Expect these enemies to give you a run for your money. You’re going to have to use your wits to defeat them. You can also expect to see a variety of animals. We believe this will help to add some excitement and variation on enemies and some nice little breaks in game play. We also have some new changes in the way the towers work. It’s very early in development so expect to hear news about it in the future. More News!• Updated Environment!The house has been completely revamped. We are creating a vibrant world for Boy and His Pup and this is the start for many upgrades to come! The sky now has stars that shine and clouds that move into the distance. We thought it gave a softer look.
New Creatures! Animals help provide boy with rations during the day period of the game. Bat: A neutral fellow that likes to fly around. Make sure you don’t let too many spawn in your house!
Wolf: Known to be a dangerous enemy, watch your step when they are close by.
Deer: The Majestic creature of Boy and His Pup, try not to scare them off!
Since our last update, we are steadily growing our community and people are starting to feel the fire. (All puns intended) We are very excited to start pushing out beta builds out in the coming months and all the hard work we've put in.

It’s been a while since our last update. Please forgive our tardiness. Rest assured, we've been working tirelessly to finish up the game. First of all we hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! This year for us, we have a lot to be thankful for, including meeting such awesome people at ComiCONN and having our project successfully funded. It has been rewarding in many ways and we look to continue to grow as a team and represent our community. We are more confident in ourselves individually and as a team, more determined than ever to finish what we've started.With that said, we have some great news! We are on track to finishing playable version, early 2015 and we are excited to get the game in to your hands.
This has been an exciting time for the team and the experience we are getting from this project has been very rewarding.Since our last update, we gathered your information from the Kickstarter survey. We will deliver your rewards earlier than the time previously stated in the Kickstarter tiers. Also, we've made some changes to the characters textures and added a few new features that we believe you will like.

Boy and His Pup is fully funded! We are all very grateful for everyone who has helped make this project a reality. It started as a small vision and has grown into something bigger. It feels great to know that people love what we are doing and this goal is a huge step forward. Checking back with another Fire Week update. We can’t believe it’s the last week of Kickstarter! It came and went so fast, it’s crazy that we only have 5 more days left. Hello all, we are back again with another Fire Week update. For those who don't know, we attended ComiCONN a couple of weeks back and showed an early version of the game to a wide variety of people. It turned out great and we were able to meet a lot of people. We complied an awesome video from the first day.
Next we have some cool news. A lot of people have been wondering about the story of the wrench and why it is so important. We decided to give a little preview of what's to come. In the next following weeks we will reveal how the wrench came to be and why it's important to Boy. Here are some early screenshots of what we've been working on.

Hello all!We are excited to end our first official Fire Week of Kickstarter, and with that, we bring with it a batch of new updates for all the good boys and girls.First and foremost, we would like to announce that we are now on Steam Greenlight. Visit our page and give us a "Yes" and thumbs up. You can also drop by and give some feedback and let us know what you think, questions, comments, etc. This goes a long way into making Boy and His Pup a great addition to your Steam games library!If you haven't checked our page in a while, we updated it with a bunch of new screenies and animated to gifs to spruce it up a bit. We like to think it adds a much needed flair to the page, while giving you more insight on the things we are planning to do with the game. Here's couple of them, but take a look around the new page to see them all.
If you'd like to fully back our campaign you can do so with the All Seer tier. Now doesn't that just slide of the tongue perfectly? Hah. With this new tier, you and/or your company's logo will now be displayed right after ours in the games start up! We will also fully animate your logoto your liking. Additionally, did I mention that we will eternally love you if you do so? No? Well yeah, we will.
To add to that, we are not fully sure if many of you know, but these backer tiers are also in-game key chain pendants that your character will receive. Rock the flare of your tier while slaying the supernatural. Here is a small preview of what comes included already with Boy.
Is that Pups face I see? Now that's dedication. We are going as far to add little details to the world in order to bring you guys the best experience.
All in all, we are stoked to see what the next week has to offer. We are also going to have some exciting new tier changes in the next coming of weeks that we do't want to spoil at the moment. Stay posted because we are going to be adding new story elementsthroughout the campaign to give you a feel of what is to be expected in Boy and His Pup because its not just all action you know, they will be a lot of tear jerker moments in the game. Anyways here is a little look into the story bits.
Boy and His Pup tells a compelling story with real life lessons. It challenges players to strategize and make decisions that ultimately lead them on a daring journey against formidable enemies. Users will play as “Boy” (the main character), in which they must defend against the constant punishment of a supernatural horde. Boy’s companion “Pup” will execute commands and provide guidance where necessary. The game is intended to invoke varied emotions of life and death and the relationship between a “Boy” and his “Pup”.
World – Boy and His Pup takes place in a modern era on the brink of an unknown apocalypse. Rifts in time and space begin opening up after a terrible thunder storm and things of imagination and nightmares begin to pour out into this world at an alarming rate.
Boy– Boy is a brilliant engineer for his age. Before his father’s untimely death, Boy studied under him as his protégé . Boy now lives with his mother and his pup on the outskirts of society where he continues to hone his skills to become the master engineer his father was preparing him to be.
Pup– Pup is Boy's right hand, given to him by his mother after the death of his father. They have grown closer over the years and Pup has taken the role as Boy’s protector. The inseparable and unique bond they possess will help to prepare them for their unexpected struggle for survival. If something needs to be done, Pup is the first in line to help.
Wrench – A family heirloom passed through Boy’s family for many generations. It was given to Boy by his father before his death. During the night of the lightning storm, the wrench gets hit by lightning, transforming it forever. While Boy has an arsenal of artillery and weaponry, Wrench is Boy’s weapon of choice and is an essential part of his journey.
Supernatural – After the lightning storm, supernatural creatures from dreams and nightmares begin to pour into the world of Boy and His Pup. Many of these creatures are from well known folklore, myths and legends but were thought non-existent or had long been forgotten. The creatures are only after one thing, to find the source of their power—and they will destroy anything and anyone in their path to reach it. Boy and His Pup is about life and death and how to cope with it. It has elements of the camaraderie between friends, the importance of loved ones, the ideas of fate and destiny, and the struggle of Boy and his Pup to find balance and survival. These two companions journey through this once familiar world trying to stay alive and find out what is happening to the world they once knew. These major themes unite with action, adventure, journey motif and awesome animations to take each player on an unforgettable experience.
•Engaging Combat – In the struggle for survival, use a variety of weapons and tactics to defend against enemies. •Tower Building– Build your own defense to your liking. Build whenever or wherever is best.• Original Soundtrack – Choose from original tracks to jam to as you work on defending your home from the supernatural. • Various Supernatural Creatures– A variety of enemies with their own strengths and weaknesses. Choose the best weapon or tactic in order to ensure their defeat.
• RPG Elements – Collect items and level up to further increase power, defense, skills and more.• Strategy – Think critically about your next move and when to take on certain tasks. Your survival depends on your own decisions and strategies.
