I experience the same problem.

Running linux mint Julia, and bought this game via Desura. Paid with paypal. Downloaded and installed. It won't launch. I keep getting a error message that says: FAILED TO READ &#xLA;UNCHER_EXE% . Any idea what might have happened? Granted - It's not a lot of money wasted, but I really wanted to play this game. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, verifying, and so forth. Still no luck.
