I noticed that a lot of people are having this issue, it might be a problem with Steam and sourcemods. I'll find a fix for this and update it accordingly!

I’d say try redownloading it from here and see if it includes the gameinfo.txt. If that doesn’t work let me know and I can fix it!

This mod should not have been released in its current state, there's a lot of promise with what the mod is trying to tell, but at the moment, it just feels like a mish-mash of broken and poorly made maps.

You're still able to play the original Portal with this mod, sourcemods are seperate from the base game

That’s odd, try verifying the integrity of Portal’s files? If that doesn’t work then try redownloading ERROR!

Thanks for letting me know! I may have seen this video before, and I agree with some of the feedback the video creator has given (I fixed some of the bugs and such shown in this video shortly after seeing it). However, I noticed that he talks a fair bit about the lighting of the mod, and while I agree that it does look poor at some points, the maps were made with this poor lighting in mind to give the mod a sort of "raw and unfinished" feeling (which, in my opinion, was important in the context of the backstory of the mod). Anyways, thanks for letting me know!

Has anyone had any issues with the test subjects eyes being missing?

Make sure you have Portal installed before downloading, then put the “error” folder in your sourcemods folder and open Steam (or restart Steam if it’s already open). You should be able to find ERROR in your Steam library from there (be sure not to launch Portal, as that just launches the original game)

Thank you very much for the feedback! The turrets appearing out of nowhere were intentional, as there is a "glitchy" sound effect that should play when the turrets appear. Either way, I'm glad you enjoyed the mod!
