My guess would be the conflict with ep2 mechanic where you need the Magnusson device to destroy the striders. You can use a workaround by spawning them in with ent_create weapon_striderbuster, and then doing it the EP2 way.
If anyone else is having crashes when picking up frag grenades in HL2 Ep1, disable the quickthrow function in the advanced settings. That fixed it for me
Hey I am coming back to the mod after a long hiatus, I am currently on ver. 1.1628. Can I install the latest update without downloading the full game ver. 1.1642.
I must say out of all the mods I've played for half-life this one always sticks with me. Ironically even though we don't really know how it ends it feels the most complete out of all the mods I've played. With the longevity, voice acting, and insanely good soundtrack.
It feels insulting to call this a mod when it is in reality a full fledged game on a source engine for free.
Looking back it feels insane this ever got finished and released even as far back as 2013 and for that I feel very grateful. I've seen a lot of mods even less ambitious than this that got canceled. I feel that MxThe and the rest of the dev team were working day and night trying to get this thing finished.
Regardless if we ever see the rest of the chapters released, I want to say thank you to all of the people who've worked on this massive project, and wanted it to see the light of day.

As long as the animations are fine i am all for it. For an example i don't know if you've used KRISS Vector, but it kind of sucks in terms of looks and animations. The crosshair while firing from the hip is on top left corner of the screen. It kills the joy of getting a "high" tier weapons, when using it feels like ****. No offence to the creators of these weapons and animations, but sometimes quality is better than just pure quantity.
I know it's a painkiller. But on the novocaine ampoule it says it slows down bleeding which doesn't happen when you put it in Gurza.
Medical injector "Gurza" with novocaine doesn't seem to apply novocaine. I think it just heals very slowly but doesn't apply the bleed control part of novocaine or the high damage resistance.
Can someone confirm if some weapons, not all, are misaligned when held by other stalkers, muzzleflash is also above weapons instead out of the barrel on fair amount of weapons. I am not sure whether It's something wrong on my side or is that a known issue.

It's repeatedly crashing at the same location with this same error.
EDIT: Nevermind just looked up on the Bug Thread I'll redownload the newest version and try again.
EDIT2: Seems to have managed to fix it by running the AREA Launcher that removed meshes and texture files that were not needed, all good.

Since the newest update the console commands don't work again :(. I am launching the game from the launcher that you've said to use but no luck.

This will probably help you delete the JSGME.lng file and the JSGME will now launch in English.
Yeah it's working now, can you also check if the additional game options haven't removed an option to toggle sprint(Hold button while sprint) because I can't find it.
Is toggle sprint gone forever I really got used to using X as sprint and Shift to walk.
Hey I love the addon but the console commands don't seem to work I enabled them last in the JSGME but they don't seem to show in the console. Am I doing something wrong
Some gun sounds are very quiet when shot from NPCs, and other like the fort 17 are too loud when shot by player. But other than that I really love this mod great stuff.
There is news from november on his patreon, either check that or the ap-ru page of the mod.
Sounds exciting is there any ETA on when is the next version coming.

Is there a way to wipe the mask visor to clear it from the rain drops.
3d scopes look very bugged out and I don't know what is causing it. They look as if they're broken but i tested a lot of them and they all have the same issue.

Check the version of DirectX the game is running on if it's 11 drop it down to 10 or 9. And try reducing the rendering distance. If that doesn't help send the crash log, so i can see in more detail.
I've been trying to edit m_stalker.ltx files but it seems like nothing works they're ******* insane they aggro me when i load the save even though i am completely out of sight and about 75m away. It feels a bit obnoxious as is. Hopefully they fix this cause the numbers that i saw in the m_stalker.ltx shouldn't make them that much insane at detecting.
