Thanks! I don't get as much feedback as with my other mods (I mod other games as well), but I look forward on improving the mod even more over time.
I have a Discord server for this and other mods, it's linked as Homepage in the mod's Profile.

Unfortunately I don't have the Steam version of the game. I tested the mod with the GOG release and with the original physical release.
I can only suggest that you copy the game's folder outside of Steam's folder (preferably outside the Program Files directory), and install the mod on this copied folder and see what happens. You shouldn't be running the game via Steam because Steam might be replacing files that are installed with the mod. So just make a copy of that installed game's folder and use it exclusively for the mod.

No worries, no noob question. Unfortunately that is not possible. I have no idea why the devs of the game did not make that option available. You only get to choose the armor, the skin type would default to the first available uniform for that given mission. Since Black Ops 2.0 unlocks all uniforms for all missions, you're stuck with woodland camo on all Co-op missions as a side effect. This will eventually be changed to the grey uniform, or I'll limit the choice of uniforms for all mission files, but this last solution would require me to manually fix thousands of mission script files.

Unfortunately no. I'm not a 3d modeler and it's not possible to edit the game's 3d models without ripping or remaking them from scratch. I already had such ideas, but until someone with the knowledge and skills for 3d modelling comes to help, it's unlikely to happen.

We're already aware of bugs with the R6 '98 map remakes. Those are maps made back in the early 2000s, there's no way to fix issues with the exported 3d geometry of the maps, I'm afraid.
Anyway, all R6 '98 missions have recently received a total overhaul, their scripts now are 99% close to the ones of the original R6 '98 game. A WIP version of the mod with such improvements has been released at the Discord server that is linked in the mod's articles.

No idea, I don't have the Steam version. To install inside Program Files can cause issues due to how Windows is restrictive about it. I suggest you copy the Delta Force Black Hawk Down folder elsewhere away from it, and then try to install the mod to that copied directory.

The mod comes with its own uninstaller separate from the main game, so I suggest you look for that and use it. If you want to be extra sure, reinstalling the games might be the best, if it doesn't take much time on your end.

I don't think so, the mod heavily changes the stock game. LAN multiplayer should still be a viable option.

Join the Discord server, we have recovered over 3GB of mods for Rogue Spear. I don't recall the ones you mention, but there are many mods in the archive. Those usually are not compatible with Black Ops 2.0 without some rework.

No idea. Either you tweak the graphics wrapper settings or you must use an alternative graphics wrapper. More details on how to edit the wrapper settings are in the ReadMe file.

Oh, that's a name I recognize! I played your remake of Rebel Mountain Stronghold! I had made my own version of the original mission for the mod, but my reworked Team Sabre missions will come at later time, they still need fixes and changes. The mod is already released, a new version was released this Christmas! It is not definitive, I want to improve upon it even more with time.

Another user from the mod's Discord server confirmed that the issue exists on Linux with Proton and with Wine. On Windows the issue does not exist. I think this is due to how the game itself works on Linux, so it goes beyond what I can do with it, no plausible fix on the horizon.

Unfortunately nothing can be done about the accuracy of the AI. The only way would be to edit the mission data. It's not possible to edit the original missions unless they are first converted to .mis format for use in the mission editor, but doing so breaks scripts and event triggers. What I can do for a future version is to increase the damage of firearms by friendly AI; the game uses specific ammo for AI units, and the damage they cause is lower than the player's weapons.

Not yet. It's not possible to edit the difficulty level of campaign missions without converting them first to another editable format, fixing all scripts and event triggers broken by the conversion, and replacing them inside the original PFF archive of the expansion.

I never experienced such an issue on my end. I'll have a look and see if I can reproduce it.

I suggest users to stay away from this rip-off; it includes a mix of mods from CombatACE.com without any permission from the original authors of those mods, including myself (the screenshots show the NL terrains package I released on CombatACE). Not good to make use of someone else's work and credit it as your own.

Currently not in the plans due to lack of free time and other modding projects. People can create mods for use in Black Ops 2.0, thanks to the re-enabled Mods option. Some mods made for Rogue Spear might require changes for proper use in Black Ops. I'd appreciate if others contribute, I have already done my part so to speak.
If you haven't already, I suggest you join the Discord server linked in the mod's profile as Homepage. In there you'll find an archive of 3GB of mods recovered for Rogue Spear, many of which were thought to be lost forever.

Unfortunately it's not fixable. Z-buffer issues with old game engines are extremely common. Maybe it's possible that through a graphics wrapper the problem could be alleviated, but creating a specific one myself goes beyond my capabilities.

Hi there! Thank you for the comment!
The new weapon sights were remade from scratch by Baldo himself. He added blur to these new ones. They were never released until now, so the mod features his latest weapon sight textures. He's very talented and I'm glad to have collaborated with him.

I have plans to revisit this old mod I just released, we'll see what the future brings.

The mod has stayed the same since November 2022, so obviously it must be due to a Windows update or due to video drivers. The game relies on wrappers for the graphics rendering and those are not my work. The only possible solution is to try different graphics wrappers. I'm currenty using dgVoodoo 2 on Win11 x64 and it all works fine on my end.

I think this was by design by the Korean developers, I didn't change anything on this regard. I don't recall exactly, I think such data should probably be defined in some .MTD files.

I don't know. It used to work but now all of a sudden it won't work for some reason. When I was on Win10 it played just fine. In the future when RL allows, I look forward to make an update to the mod and check this issue as well.

I'm already aware of those issues and they cannot be fixed. The R6 and EW map remakes have been made in the early 2000s and without source files there's no way to fix the 3d models' collisions.
Oracle Stone works fine, the issue you mentioned is a stock game bug happening with all recon missions; it is triggered randomly if you reach the extraction zone but you keep moving inside it or out of it once it is reached.

9/11 was the reason it was fully changed. The Copycat storyline was replaced, so any events of Black Thorn are no longer meant to resemble previous historic terrorist attacks.

As for the other matter, feel free to send me a private message.

Nope, there are no such plans, there's no way to port maps from that PSX game, entirely different game engine and I'm not a 3d modeller.
There's an idea of remaking three missions from the PSX version of Rogue Spear, since those seem to happen on ported, reskinned multiplayer maps from Urban Ops.

I don't know since I wasn't able to replicate the issue on my hardware. The DPI setting in the .ini shouldn't affect that, a list of its possible values is in the Wiki linked inside the Readme file.
