A quick list of the changes in MelsPerisno:

CHANGELOG

- Draharan noble troops are now females: camel archers and elephant archers.
- Rafklazan has finally gone home. But his tales have inspired another exotic king to come adventuring. Beware!
- Female troop line restored to MelsPerisno promotions.
- Cavalry Archers replaced by very tough foot soldiers.
- Assassins have stopped being archers and are now Knightsbanes using pole arms.
- Perisno Maidens still use crossbows, on foot and on horseback. Other female cavalry are shock cavalry.
- Thrown weapons now do 20% more damage.
- Most kingdom recruits can be sidegraded to Perisno Recruits.
- A few more minor cosmetic changes here and there.

I don't feel you'd regret playing either version -- the differences are fairly minor. Honestly, I am surprised and humbled by MelsPerisno's popularity. It's just my personal tweaked version of Perisno.

If you download MelsPerisno full version, you do *not* need this patch.

In your game folder (called MountBlade Warband) there is a folder called Modules. Once you've downloaded the MelsPerisno file, you unzip it (there are free apps to do this, like 7zip) and drop it in the Modules folder. Then start up Warband, and make sure in Options you check the little box for 'Load Textures on Demand' then select MelsPerisno from the pull-down menu and play.

That sort of thing depends upon your hardware. I never crash, so it's hard for me to say. My version is slightly smaller partly because I removed a few items (and their meshes and textures) that were not being used.

Remember to check the box in Options that says 'Load Textures on Demand'.

I can confirm this -- it's happening in my copy, too. I'll definitely look into it. Something happened when I merged my version with the main .74 version. Sorry about that! It's a new bug.

MelsPerisno is based on Perisno, and the female faces there are a WIP. This submod is about to be fully added to Perisno, with many bug fixes, and I'll continue to work there to improve things for the girls.

Thanks for reporting! I'll look into it. There seems to be some glitches with armour meshes in this first release.

This is a standalone submod.

Previous versions are NOT save compatible. This is a submod of Perisno7. The previous version is a submod of Perisno6. You can still play the old version, of course; the new one is still in beta, anyway. But the new one has cool things like dwarves which the old one does not.

This mod is a submod of Perisno. It has all the features of Perisno, which I believe includes both Diplomacy and Freelancer code. If your version of Warband can run Perisno (and you should try it!) you can run MelsPerisno.

When you use them in the camp menu, and they 'fly out of your hands', the map is consumed and the map's kingdom is revealed from the 'fog of war'.

Again, I must beg your pardon for my inability to model new things. This is a Perisno submod, not an original mod by me -- I have no desire to stray very far from Perisno itself :)

There are dragon and wyvern mounts used by certain elite Drachen troops, but acquiring one is nearly impossible. Because MelsPerisno is a submod of Perisno, and not my own independent creation, I try not to stray too far from the structure Michadr set up for Perisno. It would be an easy change to implement, but be aware that dragons and wyverns in Perisno do not fly through the air -- they hover close to the ground.

There actually *are* female assassins (Swiftblades)who are similar to Draharan Desert Assassins but weaker offensively. They are an upgrade path from Shield Maidens. Maybe I will make them a bit more deadly when Perisno .7 comes out next month.

There are no custom troop lines currently in Perisno. If Michadr adds custom troops to Perisno, I will definitely see that women are represented. But please understand that this is a sub-mod -- all I do is re-arrange the furniture in the house that Michadr built :)
