The real actual error was "Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-open.c: 597: _dl_open: Assertion `_dl_debug_initialize (0, args.nsid)->r_state == RT_CONSISTENT' failed!"

The install goes somewhat fine but I'm getting an inconsistency error (ld.so). Seems like my libs have some different version or something along those lines.

Gentoo ~amd64
wxWidgets 2.8.12 (could this be it? I hear you're using 2.9.x)

Haven't had much other issues but the aforementioned one renders the app unable to start.
