Hello indie game lovers,

Its been such a long while since our last post. You know how things can take over, one minute you have too much time on your hands, the next you're rushed off your feet!

Anyways! We're releasing a new game to the PlayStore this evening and any of you retro arcade lovers with Android phones should try it. Space Invaders in 3D!

There's a whole bunch of achievements to earn and global high scorers boards for the best of the best to brag over their skills.

ExciteSprite Bike coming soon to an Android device near you!

The game is already playing super fun and we are putting together a track editor just like the original so that you can torture your friends with impossible tracks.

We are busy fine-tuning the game to keep that true NES 8-bit feel, but still keep the game looking and feeling nice on a 1080p screen. There will be lots of new features too such as nitro boosts, online time-trials and even a moto-cross manager mode!

We love the old retro classics and we plan to bring many of them back to life as new Android titles. Here we have brought you a new spin on the classic Horace Goes Skiing from 1982.

The roads are even more dangerous than they were in the 80's but Horacio has slightly better control of his movement than his older cousin! Still, like Horace, all he wants to do is ski! Take him there!

Bringing back that ravenous lust for high scores, the game gets more difficult very quickly as you progress and getting top of the global Leaderboard will be reserved only for the best. The traffic gradually gets stepper, the driver much more impatient and the skiing slalom flags get harder and harder to navigate.

These roads are relentless Horacio, and ambulances don't come cheap! But remember... "No Money, No Ski!"

We've started a Kickstarter in a hope to raise some budget for art assets for the game and some money left for marketing the app. Check it out: Horacio Goes Skiing 2017 Swipe Edition

Hindsight's a wonderful thing! And 2 days into the Kickstarter I realise we have probably set the bar way too high. We should have asked for £500-1000. The main element we need help with is the character artwork and looking back it may have been a more sensible budget.

However, we will continue with the project regardless and if the budget does not come through we will still make sure this game gets finished.

The idea is actually being received quite well by our follows on Twitter, but sadly not many people have checked out our YouTube channel or the Kickstarter.

Here's a little snapshot of the gameplay. The road scene is really fun to play and is virtually finished. The difficulty level increases upon every successful ski trip and the traffic gets more aggressive. The ski section is also lots of fun. I just can't help wishing we could get a better drawn game character but it is something myself and my graphic artist teammate are struggling with.

Here's the latest development update for our upcoming game based on Horace Goes Skiing, the 1982 classic from Psion.

The game gets progressively more difficult, we have the setting very easy at this time whilst making the video but it quickly becomes almost impossible (just like the original :D)

It's jam packed full of nasty, impatient drivers, overtaking, ambulances running people over, cocky cheeky remarks/comments, blood, guts oh and of course a bit of skiing!

The aim of the game will be simply to get the highest score and reign supreme on the Global Leaderboard.

Do us a little favour and go ahead and hammer the like button for us, we are feeling a little left out since we have zero Likes :S
