Game review

After playing the demo.
A dull world and linear levels. Unprecise controls (playing with a keyboard, so that's to be expected) combined with plenty of instant death scenarios. Spike traps hidden by curvy landscapes and a low camera that you don’t see before you’re falling into them. The camera and the controls caused far more deaths than the enemies.

Since you can only fire straight forward it is at times not possible to hit enemies or objects due to the ground not being completely flat. I found a gem-containing flower that I could not hit no matter where I positioned myself.

Running and platforming is actually kind of enjoyable and this is, I feel, the games strength. But the levels don’t seem to be designed for keeping up momentum. There are turns you are required to make on small surfaces, surrounded by instant death, so you stop to realign yourself repeatedly, ending the brief moment of joy.

Unfortunately more frustrating than fun. Perhaps better with a gamepad but that does not fix all the issues.
