Does anyone know if there is a way to change the mouse aim to be inverted?? I'm trying the demo right now as I'm very interested in buying the game and there is no option to invert the mouse aim?! It's a FPS game, you need to have an invert option, I cannot play FPS games with standard, non-inverted aim. There has to be plenty of people in the same boat as me, inverting the mouse aim control is super common in FPS! I can't even play the game like this. Someone please tell me there is a way to inver the aim... I really want to play this game.

After reading every word on this section of moddb, I have found the answers to my problems and I wish to share them with everyone who may not be aware. I do technical support for a living and find it very annoying to not be able to make something work, the way it should. So, after learning this info, I have found this mod much more enjoyable and I hope this info can help some of you enjoy this mod more.

I found a post by Dalte near the beginning of the comments section here for EOS. It appears that in order to have Kung Fu selectable as an actual weapon, you must eneter a cheat code. So first thing is first, you will need to be able to access the console in order to enter cheat codes.

To activate the console within Max Payne 2 you must first locate your shortcut for Max Payne 2. If you do not have a shortcut already, drag and drop the Max Payne 2.exe onto your desktop and it will automatically create a shortcut. Next, right click on the shortcut icon and select 'Properties'. Click the 'Shortcut' tab at the top of the properties window. The first text box where you can enter data should be labeled 'Target' and it should contain the folder path to your Max Payne 2.exe. All you have to do here is add "-developer" to the end of it (without quotations). Here is an example of what my 'Target' text box looks like:

"C:\Games\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe" -developer

Now click 'Ok' to close the properties window for the Max Payne 2 shortcut. Go ahead and launch the game. Select Elements of Style 1.5 as the mod if it isn't already selected and click 'Play Game'. Either launch a new game or load a saved one. Now if you have setup the 'Target' path properly, you should be able to push '~' on your keyboard to open the console. Here is where you need to input your codes to activate Kung Fu or any other cheat codes. The cheat codes that can be entered for this mod are as follows:

TheSpecialist = All weapons + KungFu + God Mode
GetAllWeapons = All weapons + KungFu
GetCloseCombat = KungFu
God = God Mode

Any of the top 3 codes should add Kung Fu as a selectable weapon in your "Number 2" category of weapons. you can equip Kung Fu as much as you like, just as if it was a weapon and go to town on your enemies. It's a blast to say the least!

Now for the extra levels that have been added to this mod. I would like to thank Tairoku for helping clarify this one. They are all DMW (Dead Man Walking) maps, which is the last game mode that is unlocked in Max Payne 2. So you have 2 options, play the game until you unlock DMW mode or use a "trainer" to gain access to all levels and game modes. A trainer is basically a cheat or hacking utility for a program, typically games. If you wish to choose option 2, you can download the Pizzadox trainer here:

Gamewinners.com.

Just download it and unzip it into your Max Payne 2 main directory, then execute it. Next time you launch Max Payne 2, you should have access to all the game modes and levels including DMW mode. So in order to enjoy the new maps, select 'New Game', then choose 'Dead Man Walking', select either Diego or Mona and then you will have 2 pages of DMW maps to choose from. Check them out, there are some really badass levels in there.

Well that about wraps it up. I hope this info can help some of you enjoy this mod to it's fullest potential. I definitely find this mod very enjoyable and well done. Excellent work Dalte, just please include a readme/instructions in any future releases. I promise you, the easier it is for people to grasp something... the much more popular it will become.

Final Verdict - 9/10

This mod has a lot of potential, but I think I;m missing something or am confused. I can't believe this doesn't come with any sort of readme or instructions. The file hosted here on moddb, is corrupt. Whenever I download it and attempt tp un-rar it, I get a "file dorrupt" error at about 99% completion. The file at FileFront, seems to be fine.

Now what about kung fu? I understand how it works when I don't have any weapons or if I am in the process of reloading, you can bust out kung fu moves. How do you just activate kung fu mode? There is no way to equip it as a weapon it seems. After 2 mins of gameplay, Max receives his first gun and pretty much from there out you can;t select to use kung fu instead of guns?! I have melee selected as my secondary attack but all he does is the little weapons swing. I can always do the "down + left or right + jump" manuevers but that is hardly "super kung fu". The stuff you can bust out while re-loading, now that is super kung fu, but someone please explain how the hell do that all the time...

My final question is where are all the new levels you added? You said 15 or so new levels were added and I have seen them in the trailers but I see no new option on the main menu besides the "music selector". I have the "pizzadox" trainer installed so I have access to all modes and chapter select but I can find no option anywhere to play any of your new levels.

Can anyone please answer these questions? How do you activate kung fu at any point? How the hell do you access the new levels?

This mod has a lot of potential and is enjoyable but with the frustrations that are a result of not including a simple readme or instructions. I find it hard to want to play it when I know I'm missing half of the picture.

Someone please explain this or supply a way of reaching dalte.
