Hi, I'm using my 360 pad but the deadzone is too sensitive so the character creeps when he should be standing still. I've tried using a xinput hack to add extra deadzone but this didn't work.

Trying to focus on a few games at a time right now and I may actually complete some. I did the same on xbox a few years ago and completed quite a few rather than play and then put down.
I'm not really into FPS right now. My main likes right now are Strategy games (Civ/Tropico/CnC/Dawn of War) and platform puzzle/stealth games (Mark of the Ninja/Stealth Bastard Deluxe/Rochard/Super Meat Boy/Gateways). I quite like turn based strategy so I can take my time and have a think (Civ/Catan/Blood Bowl) and won't be too affected if my kids get in the way and I have to run off.
I'm going to focus on SBD, Mark of the Ninja and a bit of time playing Overlord for a change.

I've played the demo a few times and thought I'd just leave my comments. I've played other top down racers and some I've liked (big fan of the old Micro Machine games) but on the whole I don't think they are my thing. This one unfortunately is still not to my taste but it is a pretty good one compared to others I've tried. It's far better than the Codemasters F1 game, which I am sure cost a lot more to make.
The game engine seems good and I think it would work really nicely with a racer that has weapons and powerups. I think the steering felt a bit too tight for me but that could be the class of cars in the demo. I'd prefer the rears to be a bit looser for a more fun arcade feel.
The tracks seemed to have sections that looked like you would drop off a ledge but it didn't seem to happen. Maybe I was misunderstanding what I was seeing.
I can't really comment on the AI. It raced with me and was a bit challenging but I didn't see anything particularly stupid nor anything very clever either. I've cut my brake finger pretty badly though so racing is a tad hard at the moment :)
The game runs great with the Xbox 360 gamepad.
Overall, I think this seems to be an above average top down racer, just not quite my thing. Looks like a bargain at full price and it's on offer right now so if you're into this genre well worth a go.
I won't add this to reviews since it is only based on the demo.
