you need to put the brutal half life folder that comes inside the zip file on the half life local files, right click half life on steam > properties > beta > change from none to steam_legacy > general > write on the launch settings "-game (put here whatever the brutal half life folder name is, on my case it's bhl_beta2) without the (), and load the game
