I have that problem in the base game too. So either AI ship hiding in the edge of the map, or you're having the original game bug, defo not from the mods.

wow, ur specs higher than mine, all of them. Yet I never got ctd when playing ... drop fps sure, never crash/freeze. Even when playing it straight 18 hours. Is it probably Win10 ? ... I still using Win7-SP1.

Run the 4gb patch first. so the .bat hooked with the .exe

Probably because you didn't do the patching. It said if you didn't do it, you can still run the game, but will running out of memory. But if you do patching the game with the 4gb patching and still getting freeze, then you need more descriptive with your spec. Each PC and OS version have different result.

Only have 3 problems with this version.
1. CTD when loading a save file.
- It's like 25-75% chance my save file can be loaded or not. Sometime it's okay, another time it's corrupted & lead to ctd. I try to make a lot of save files, it's so random, but high tendency it's corrupted.

2. If Mara Jade destroyed in combat, she's not resurrected and permanent dead.

3. Performance issue on +100pt vs +100pt battles. FPS dropping hard. Try to lower setting all to low, it doesn't change. When field +200pt ship like Eclipse, it's instantly drop to 1~5fps.

My PC : W7-SP1 ; i7 3770 @ 340ghz ; GTX 1050ti ; 16gb Mem ; 720p monitor
Play on Highest or Lower setting in 720p, great performance under 100pts battle, annoyed performance on +150pts battle, impossible to play (1~5fps) when using Eclipse or Executor.

FYI, even I have problem above, I never got CTD when starting new game and also never ctd/freeze when playing this straight 18 hours.
