no, but imagine you poison him, then you could just run, and he would eventually be left with only 1 HP

You should reduce the poison damage. If not, I would be able to kill a legendary within seconds

are you planning to use the Pokedex sizes of the Pokemon, or the Anime sizes, cause Growlithe should be much bigger if using the Pokdex sizes.
