Hey IJoyner.

I'm running into an annoying crash. Since you are a experienced modder and got some knowledge about CoC, I thought you might got a idea with this issue.
I already checked the other ModDB-forums, but unfortunately havent found a solution yet.

The game is crashing when trying to enter certain maps like Garbage or Dead City. There is no error message popping up. According to my research, it seems to be a known vanilla bug and is caused by the option "Dynamic Lightning". Switching it to "Static Lightning" usually seems to help.

The issue is that CoC changed the settings so you dont have the option anymore (or I'm blind). I tried switching to DX8, no success.

You got any idea? Thanks a lot in advantage, and again, thanks much for keeping this experience alive!

€: In the logs, I found this message:

Can't find model file 'dynamics\weapons\wpn_m249\wpn_m249_eotech.ogf'.

Might that cause the issue?

With the unofficial patch, do you mean [BETA] Call of Chernobyl 1.5 R6 Full? If not, would you mind sharing the link? I cant really figure out anything else.

Also, with 1.5 R6, the game is still crashing when moving to Garbage. I tried it with DX8, but it doesn't help. Also seems like the static lightning option is gone.

Yeah. But unfortunately not for the aimpoint AC11090 red dot sight. Anyway, thanks for the information it's the 4.6 supressor! Always wondered which one it is.

First of all: thanks much for your effort to make this mod compatible with CoC. Both together pushes Stalker on a new level and the game is getting better and better with every year, while officialy the series is dead. Those mods give me so much more then some full-price-titles ever could - just thanks!

I know it's not Team Epics job to deal with sub-mods by other authors, but I got a minor issue and since E.Nigma42 isn't working on it anymore I thought I ask here. Currently it's not possible to put the aimpoint-scope on the MP7 while you can put the ACOG-scope on it. I'm not an expert but I would think it would be more common to use a aimpoint on the MP7 than the ACOG, it's closer to the Micro T2 optic aswell which is commonly used with it. Is there any chance to make the aimpoint usable for the MP7?

Hey, I'm playing currently on v 1.5 R6 as a Merc. Is there any way to avoid that the Merc camps are getting viped out? The camp at the waste pocessing station is dead now, the wild land is a nightmare to defend, especially for the AI and also dead city doesn't feel at least a bit save. Also, seems there is no way to send reinforcements to those locations.

Losing all quest-givers and the Merc-traders would suck balls. :/

Posting a request to have only one rifle under a mod which adds tons of weapons is kinda misplaced.

Realism was never the intention of the game. And as smarch posted: no one forces you to take every gun you can find. I somewhat agree that a lower amount of ammo would defintly change the style of gameplay and would be interesting, but on the other hand; have fun fighting a chimera with only 2 mags in your bag.

If you are searching for a one-shot-kill damage-model: play on master.

Have you already disabled VSync? The ingame disable doesn't work, you need to do it with your GPU settings. It helped me a lot.

Totally agree on that. Playing missions with the AI is never fun, but the grenades makes it even more awful. The AI can't handle the grenades.

I noticed that when I attacked Jack's bandits in Jupiter. I needed several attempts. It wasn't unusual that ~ 4-5 bandits killed each other with the frags. ALso it happend many times that I got killed by grenades without any chance to react because the grenades exploded in the air. That realy ****** up the mission.

Another thing I want to request: is there any chance to make the Freedom Exosekeleton accessable for the player? Same counts for the Duty counterparts. I would love it if you could use a heavier Freedom-armour. Or is that allready somehow possible?

Many times the loot will just spawn in the wrong height. If you got a stah in the first floor and can't find it, then check the floor, or the other way around.

After a 70% walkthrough with AO3 (complete fresh install without additional mods on Win7 64bit system), here my opinion:

Awesome work. I doubt that I can ever play the game with vanilla weapons again. Realy adds so much to the experience and offers so many new playstyles. I played as Freedom-Sniper with silenced SVD and Sidearm, a thing I never did before. Technical very well done, no crashes or freezes so far.

Things I want to report:

-Sometimes you have a random reloading sound. Not sure what is causing that, I'm going to try to duplicate it.
-It seems there are 2 models of the M1911A1 in the game?
-No Silencer for the MP443 and MP440. Don't realy see why.
-Some stashes a bugged so you can't reach them. But I saw your reply to that question on an earlier post which was concerning that, so nvm.

Hope to see some of the weapons we lost in the future again. Also I would wish to see a ordinary Bushmaster M4 with classic ironsights in 5.56 and a SCAR-L. Only thing I realy miss is that you can't switch the calibers of the weapons any more, but that's nip-picking.

Maybe you wan't to add the solution for the Atomsfear 3 installer a guy posted before to your .readme. (When button is greyed out, hit TAB and UP).
