Add this to the Blindside "w_sks" config file in gamedata/config/items/weapons
You need to add this in the "[wpn_sks_hud]:hud_base" section

For the AUG, you can find several reanimation mods with alternate aim option for the A1 variant.
My fav is the AUGmented mod.
Ok, I've tested it with a clean, unmodded game. No crashes.
I remembered it wrong, I didn't change the NPC loadouts, everything is original. Probably a compatibility problem with a mod.

It would be cool if the Scar artefact could restore psy damage. The artefact description says it's got a calming effect on the human nervous system. Having one or two on the belt would be a nice countermeasure.

Using vanilla animation with
blindeside is probably misplace some animations because of the hand position in the weapon ltx file......I think. Tried it with other weapons, it's a mess.

Very nice, but when an NPC using M24, the sound layers are incorrect. If I'm far away from an NPC with M24, it sounds like I'm shooting it. Bolt too.

Didn't test it with BaS, probably there wont be any sounds, if you delete the mod_system LTX. The only way to add sounds for the AK was the mod_system LTX.
Ok, I did it.
You need to rename 2 animation files. The ak103 hud animation file and the ak100 hud hand animation file
wpn_akm_hud_animation ---> wpn_ak103_hud_animation
wpn_hand_akm_hud_animation ---> wpn_hand_ak100_hud_animation
After this you have to edit the "w_ak103" LTX
Copy all of the hand, aim, grenade launcher, lowered positions and all of the "anm" lines from "w_akm" LTX and replace them in the "w_ak103" LTX
This is the only way, to change the hand position on the AK 100 series rifles, but it will also change the reload animation to AKM and you have to fine tune the aiming in debug mod "weapon hud editor", coz the iron sight is a bit off to the right. Didnt test the scopes.
Oh and this will mess up ALL of the AK 100 series, so you have to change every single one of their animation files and edit the weapon LTX files and fine tune the iron sights.
I'll look into it soon.
The "mod_system_000" was the only solution for the sounds
