Mike Bonafede grew up in a small town in western New York where he spent most of his time playing classic video games. His love for games came from his grandfather, who taught him how to play games of strategy like Chess at a young age. His love for entertainment came from his father, a musician, and helped foster his creativity.

After getting his associates degree in Multimedia Design he moved east and worked as a game tester for several years on titles like Guitar Hero and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 before moving on to pursue a bachelors in Game Design. Now an undergrad, he’s looking to use his talents to make games and put his skills to the test. With this project he seeks to join the community of independent developers in shaping the future of the game industry.
