Playing the first chapter crashes the game and gives me this Engine Error:

Yes I have set Source 2013 to 'upcoming' beta.
Nevermind I had to turn on compatibility mode
I still can't change the resolution without it crashing after deleting it.
When I try to change the resolution in-game I get this error.
