Can someone tell me how to use the Mordor Tribute Banner system as Harad?
I understand how to move the cart to the fortress for the resources, but how do you level up the banner to get the Mordor units? It says something about sending slaves, but the only slaves I can find are from the lumber mills. Placing them near the banner does not seem to do anything.

Awesome to hear. Sounds like the only thing to make it even better would be to change the model for his face. I think they had a really good design for that. Either way it’s great that he will have his commanding voice.

I am aware of these changes. He was originally going to have 4 legs as Tolkien described and I prefer that version. However I thought it much be cool to still preserve some features of the movie design such as the voice, face, and general appearance (minus the 2 leg wyvern anatomy)

Has this been considered or will it just be the same red dragon from previous versions?

Yeah sorry to say, but you are dead wrong and clearly don't know how to spam orcs well. All you need to do is spam and send in the Nazgul and you're basically set.

Even as a huge fan of the evil factions and Mordor in particular, I agree with Elessar.

Mordor is VERY powerful and they really don't take much skill. I know the common "counter" to beating them is to rush them relentlessly. but with the low cost of the defensive towers around the castle, a rush can easily be stopped. Mordor's defense can be as good as their offense in certain times. I feel like the factions should be balanced to the point where they all can have an equal chance of winning at any stage of the game.
If Mordor is able to get up a morgul fortress and produce a good amount of morgul orcs.. the game is basically over and Mordor just gets more powerful as the game progresses.

I've noticed a bug regarding Heroes and walls

Playing as Mordor or Isengard, my heroes such as Gothmog, Lurtz, Saruman, the Nazgul are unable to use ladders or siege towers to scale walls.

Is this a known bug or can heroes just not climb walls?

Before anything, the demo is excellent and I think we all appreciate the work that went into it.
The only game breaking problem I, and my friends have encountered is that the game seems to crash a lot. The crash occurs at various points in the game (late/early) and we cant seem to pinpoint what is causing it.

ALSO: I dont have the SFX textures installed, or whatever it is called.

You need to get the Khazad-Dûm Expedition power from the spellbook. It allows you to gain new heroes and upgrades from the Inn. Including access to the prospecting workshop

Is there any possibility that we will see heroes from Thorin's Company clad in their regal armor, as seen in The Battle of The Five Armies, in 4.0? Possibly as a new look for the heroes after they receive their Mithril Armor upgrade?

Also will Azog get an upgrade to give him his Armor and prosthetic sword arm?

I was just hoping to know if the characters from the hobbit such as Thorin and company, Smaug, Azog, and the Goblin king will have voice recordings from the film as you have done with other characters from the LOTR films?

Also will Smaug be receiving the same great visual upgrade as Thorin and company??

Gnomi, this talk of catapults makes me wonder if you will be adjusting their usefulness to infantry, the Gondor Trebuchet I personally think is far too powerful against infantry. It can decimate your entire army if they are protected with tower guard and rangers.

I know you have made changes to that already but they still seem a little too effective against armies.

Please dont.. Bolg should look as he did BEFORE the movie was released. Look at the difference..

I see Azog above (he looks awesome btw)and the Goblin King (also awesome) but what about Bolg, or Smaug??? or is this something that will be reviewed after The Desolation of Smaug is released?

Also with the removal of the spiders, does that take out Shelob? I think that is a good move to get rid of them and your observations are correct.

If Shelob is gone.. who is the Ring Hero?

I mean look at how great Edain is becoming. all of these amazing new changes and features. Also yes the new characters and skins from The Hobbit surely are helping too.

But to answer your question yes, the Edain mod has grown a lot in popularity and you almost always will see new people posting on here.
We are all waiting for 4.0!

If only the Edain team could ban certain IPs from downloading their mod

there is a user made language patch that was posted on here a while back that decently translates the game to english. If you go through the pages a bit you should be able to find it
