Looks promising. I also took a look at the devlogs you posted on IndiDB and it's quite impressive. Congratulations ! :)
I'm gonna follow this project closely, though I won't be able to test the demo right now since it's Windows only.

I'd say that it's even more crucial for an Indie game to have a great hook since a lot of classical game types (shmup, FPS, etc...) are available for free through open source projects. Like Freeciv, UrbanTerror, etc...
