Will there be Nurgle plague bearers and other chaos themed units later on?

I never played the PC versions of Army Men when I was a kid, I played the PS2 versions. There were a couple of really weird glitches in those games. In one of the muliplayer maps I remember a way you could get off land and run around on the water, no big deal right? Well the weird thing was when you got out to far their were machine gunners waiting for you in cattails, like the developers knew about the glitch and weren't about to let you get away with it lol.

Another one was on a multiplayer map as well. I got bored one day as a kid and began tossing a massive amount of grenades at a radio at the Green base. After I'd throne so many the radio became discolored. I ran over to it and was randomly teleported to what I can only describe today as a path finding testing area for the developers. If I can remember right, After running around the weird area for awhile I was eventually killed by a random tank driving around out there. I was never able to get back to the area again.

There are some mods for the game I believe. Just type in "Army Men RTS mods" in Google search, I'm sure you'll find something. Don't be surprised if you don't find much though...the game wasn't made by the developers in a way so that people would have an easy time modding it like most do now.

Looks a lot more refined in my opinion. The Tan tanks to the right are look very small.

Maybe it's the angle?

This looks so much more detailed then any of the other versions.

I read that signing into a live account works to. But when it trys to download my profile the game crashes again!

Hello!

Was hoping you guys could help me with a problem i'm having.I am currently playing the new mod but my game keeps crashing. Not just when playing with the humans, it just seems to constantly crash randomly throughout the game. At first I thought it was the mod itself but after uninstalling and reinstalling the game without the mod it still crashes.

I found online that disabling the v-sync and direct X from the options fixes it. I found that it helps but the game still crashes a lot.

If anyone has any advice on how I could fix this any help would be appreciated.

Eventually i'm sure, the original creator is currently working on another project. Con7con is working on it now I believe.

Hey guys! been awhile since I posted on here.

I just wanted to know, if we were to create army men air attack rts with the same graphics, building, units, and sounds do you think we would be able to get a fair fan base going?

We were talking about a multiplayer aspect for the future of the game, would you guys like to play against other people in the game if there were servers for it?

A DLC would've made sense to release. I found myself playing the prologue more then the actually campaign or multiplayer. Just playing as the humans has more of a fun feel to it for some reason more then the other 3 factions.

Why couldn't Petroglyph had just made the humans a playable faction in the first place?

Wouldn't it had saved a lot of trouble? lol

I was just expecting builders and sentry turrets. It would be nice if the units weren't so powerful as well. I heard CanadaMan7 was planning on adding the humans to global conquest mode that be great lol. And as I said before buildable laser turrets would be interesting.

Just throwin things out there, can't wait for the mod to be released, been checking almost everyday.

Starwars empire at war is a great game, the space battles are easy to understand and get the hang of alot easier in my opinion then other space fighting games.

They could have made the land battles alittle better in my opinion, but are fun anyway.

I thought end of nations looked cool but don't care for the online games much these days.

Who said it died? It's prolly just taking awhile cause he's working alone.

If it has died, i'v wasted alot of time checking this site on a daily basis for an update lol.

Now first notice how good the models are...this game was made before army men RTS, 3 years before in fact,the units in this game look far better then on RTS.

Now look at the tank on the far left. It has smoke rising from the barrel, and if you look closely you can see the smoke trail from the shell to the half-track.

Look at the at the other tank on the left, it has little yellow effects of bullets hitting it from the green helicopter and little white effects on the ground near it from the helicopter as well.

Lastly, look at the explosion. It sends 2 jeeps and a half-track flying through the air. But the most important aspect graphically here in my opinion is the lighting...see that yellow stuff near the explosion? That's light from the tank shell.

So i guess that's it...the Army men RTS that could have been.

From what i'v read, this is the Army men air attack on the Nintendo 64

Now please don't think i'm putting down Army men RTS, I think it's a great game...But I think this would have been so much better.

Does anyone know if it's possible to restart a company? Is doing something like reviving 3DO legally possible?

Army men air attack is for pc.

Air attack 2 was only for playstation 2 I believe.

Ya, i'v seen that one before, that is rather odd, maybe decided to make a different mod and forgot to remove they army men on top

Doesn't look to me like it had much fan support...maybe that's why.

Looks like the model were quite well done.
