Nice what tutorials did you use to learn bezier curve?

Your English was fine, have you checked out the tutorials on blender underground. I have so far created a decent looking head mesh but with these tutorials i am learning more of the basics then going back and applying them.
Sweet, but can you get custom characters and guns with rigging and animation into the engine as well? Nice texturing too.
Nice gameplay trailer! Been looking forward to this for a while. Only thing is I am having a hard time forcing myself to finish FC2 especially after seeing this! lol!
I have been tracking this mod for months and in all honesty I am more excited about this than any other full fledged game that is to be released. Your team comes across as very professional and extremely talented. I hope you guys do some tutorials for the budding modders out there such as myself. Great work and looking forward to the next update!
Nice mod so far, cry engine 2 is a beautiful engine and the reason i want to start modding. The screens you have so far look great, I will be keeping my eye on this one. Keep up the great work and best of luck to your team!
This looks nice makes me want to finally finish the game.
I was thinking about buying that book also but I am starting to lean more towards suffering through the basics with free tutorials and when I need to move on to more specialized things then get books for that. So for instance I am looking at getting "Introducing Character Animation with Blender 2.5" when it comes out and also "Mastering Blender", "Stop Staring: Facial Modeling and Animation Done Right", "Bounce, Tumble, and Splash!: Simulating the Physical World with Blender 3D", "Building a Digital Human", and finally some books on human anatomy.
For me I think the basics can be learned through the community for free but the techniques on how to do different things needs to be studied more in depth. I have grown frustrated by all of the learn blender books because of the pace of the books.
Great read, I to am totally new to this world and would like to get a project off the ground in the next couple of years. I am currently cutting my teeth in blender because modeling is the most interesting to me.
Cool to see someone else new to this world. I too am new and trying to get my head around the staggering amount of things within it. Currently I am learning blender 3d.
Nice, this may make me pick up the game! lol. did you do your base mesh in zbrush or another application?
Yea the work these guys have done is amazing! I agree, the big studios have lost their way and I think are starting to regress. I am glade I bought crysis so I can play this mod and also learn how to mod. Great work guys!
Wow I have been following this for a while now and can't stop from being blown away by the tallent you guys display. It has finally got me trying to learn how to model and then learn how to mod. Great job keep up the excellent work. Oh one quick question will this mod have a cover system in it? I would love to see a Rainbow Six style cover system in it. Now if I can get my wife to let me get a GTX 295 for this before release I will be set!
Great looking models how many faces do they have? I am just starting out and would like to see what I should shoot for. Can we get some higher res pictures of them also?
Breath taking, the attention to detail is amazing! The mud on the boots was a great touch. The sad fact is this looks way better than crysis and I think is playing on the strengths of the engine better than crysis did. For someone looking to getting into modding you guys are a great example to learn from. Top notch work!
Dude great trailer, really that was top notch. I really like the few models that you have in with the police car and the van. Good work, you got my attention.
Cool tank how long did it take you to model it?
Hi all, I am new to 3D and decided to learn with Blender. My intent on learning this program is to begging modeling characters for 3D art and maybe be some game modding with the cryengine2. Glade to join and I plan on being active.
Well I am new to mods and have no idea how to build one yet but my .02 would be scrap the farcry idea and go with a "tears of the sun" theme. It is set in Africa during a genocide and you can shoot people and get a group of people from one point to another. It would be cool to really have the environment play a major role in the story plus you wouldn't have to worry about the complete opens that farcry 2 has.
Hey guys I am a total noob at modding but I think the work you guys are doing is awesome. If you go ahead with this mod for warhead instead of crysis you may give me a reason to pick it up. I have crysis but the performance is poor for any visual fun for myself so I haven't installed it in a while. Will this mod have MP?
