its after the roman legionary unit, it just splits into roman imporatori on both branches

I have a question to do with how the diplomacy will work since, in this universe it does not really exist. Also, again since I think the only faction that probably still remembers the term diplomat are the tau, will the 'diplomatic' ships just be slightly less heavily armed and armoured warships? Or does the imperium actually have purpose built diplomatic ships?

I have a question, for the council you mentioned that you are going to add salarian ships, would that mean that the council as a faction, will have the largest variety/options of ships in the game or are you going to replace ingame ships with the salerian ones? P.S will the councils get a faction ability that would involve the STG (Salesian task group thing)? Like have you see enemy/neutral worlds that fall under your influence? Or have envoys/scouts get sabotage abilities?

What are you talking about? Of cause it's going to be difficult to find. They said it will be orbiting a star, do you have any idea how difficult it is to get to that one star, in a 10 planet sized map?

I believe this is the first time, as far as I could tell, that someone adding this kind of feature in. Can not wait to give is a try
Interesting idea, though instead of one massive landing pad, you have engineers (builder units) make multiple smaller pads for the other units or even have the main base look less like a landing pad and more like a mobile base, like the Terran structures in Starcraft or the F.O.B in halo ( it doesn't have to be Mobile like the English faction). Then instead of other unit build Buildings you have your engineers make a landing zone. Your idea is good to.
