You can try using a renderer other than vulkan and see if that helps.

Try reducing the memory limits in UndyingFixes.ini (just remove one zero from all of them).

Try to copy over textures folder as well. If it still doesn't work try copying over Aeons.u and then rerun the launcher.
I tried installing this Spanish patch on clean undying gog version and then installing renewal on it. It installed without any issues but I did have to use the original Engine.dll from the gog version that renewal needs. Community.pcgamingwiki.com
Hi. Try installing it without the patch and see if it works. If not then it's the antivirus blocking access to some file.
If it works then you can try copying over only the sounds folder from the Spanish patch and all .est files from the system folder.
Can you redownload renewal? I fixed one crash and added a load autosave feature that allows you to go back to the level where you crashed.
What resolution and graphics card are you using? These seem like a coincidence.
When the game crashes open task manager and go to details tab and find Undying.exe, right click then click create memory dump file. If you send me this file I can try to diagnose the crash.
The site should be back now.
The scripts are now updated automatically and you don't need to redownload renewal unless I update something not related to scripts. This makes it easier for me to update the game and this reduces the original download size.
I could upload the current version of the scripts and then if you don't have internet access you would be playing with a possibly outdated renewal version.
It seems unlikely that you wouldn't have an internet connection right after downloading renewal and the scripts are just downloaded from github so they will always be available.
The launcher just downloads files from this link and puts them in the Scripts folder. Github.com
Nice. It failed because Aeons.u was missing and when you retry it copies the backed up files to the system folder.
16 is the max.
You need a change in the script as well for it to be recompiled, it's not enough to just change defaultproperties. You can then revert the other change and recompile it again. Or alternatively copy the .u packages from system/backup/ folder to system folder and recompile all scripts.
Also to recompile script changes without restarting the launcher you can shift click the play button.
Disabling automatic updates will keep your script changes.
If the Aeons folder isn't there the game won't update the scripts in the Aeons.u package. After patching the game once you could delete the entire scripts folder if you wanted to.
"Undying ESRGAN Renewal compatibility upscale" is not maintained by me and most renewal textures should be upscaled already. I suggest contacting the original author.
Probably more settings are coming, yes.
Edit: More settings have been added to System ini
Anisotropic filtering is set to 8 and it can't be changed. Same with texture filtering.
You can set MSAA antialiasing level in System ini under [VulkanDrv.VulkanRenderDevice] by changing Multisample=
If you use glide or directx renderer you can configure all the options you mentioned in dgVoodooCpl.exe
Maybe but then you can't play it without manually installing scripthook and all versions that I've tried were flagged anyways. I have however updated the scripthook dll in the zip file so it hopefully has less problems.
There's not much you can do except keep retrying. If you join the undying discord I can dm you a newer launcher version that auto retries.
Try adding the "Clive Barker's Undying\System\Scripts" folder to exclusion list in your antivirus or just try again with a fresh install.
Thank you for the kind comment. And yes, the update will be out by then :)
Hey, what visual problems did you experience? If it's above 1080p then visual glitches are expected for all renderers.
That crash should be fixed in the next update, thanks for reporting.
