Just wanted to message you back, i found the cause of the problem, and it´s pretty embarrassing.
It was my Keyboard which had its macro at speed 2x, i did not realise that because i did not notice anything different in my other games.

Unfortunately, after reinstalling and checking the user.ltx and remapping ingame, the problem persists, its really odd but i can play with that bug, i just have to press forward and left/right to move around.

I tried it on Dx 10 and 11, tried to turn everything down in the visual settings but that did not help either, looked into logs but there where no error messages.

Gpu: gtx1070
Cpu: amd 3600
Ram: 16gb 3000 clock
installed on SSD

To be clear the game runs smoothly, but my character takes weird steps forward and stops moving when only pressing forward!

I need some help i dont know if this is a known problem or not, or if i incorrectly installed anomaly myself, after following the instructions and starting the game everything seemed fine.

but when ingame and i try to move my movement seems bugged, i don´t know how to explain but when i simply press (W) forward the character does only stutter forward but when i walk sideways and then forward (W&A or W&D) he walks normally. i´m not sure what to do, could someone please help me :( ?

Specs:
-Processor: Intel i5-4690k overclock 4.5 GHz
-Ram: 16gb
-System: 64bit / x64
-GPU / Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1070 8 gb (Nvidia)

So Let me first say that after lowering some settings the game stopped crashing because as you have said the game and the engine is old(in the crash logs it always said "Running out of Memory").

for the hud, I will try cHUD 1.2, if you know a hud that contains information for new players like minimap or ammo I would be glad if you mention it!

Lastly, the only option that truly confuses me are the DirectX options on the internet i find a lot of conflicting information dx9 is more stable then dx10/11, or dx11 is more stable then dx9/10 but with less functioning features such as sunrays not working in dx11.

i have another question my computer can handle high/ultra settings but the game can´t "" crashing because of memory"".

i will probably turn the graphics down to medium or smh, should i be using directx9 10 or 11 which one of these is more stable do you know ?
