Oh no, it's not about HAVING a Chinese name, it's about... The name. Lei Feng is kind of a joke for most people that I know (including myself)--but hey, whatever works for you.

Well, not being critical or anything, but I've given this matter some thought--if you don't want to be sniggered at by the growingly disillusioned population, maybe you should think of "updating" your name. Let your Ma call you that, but maybe have a different name you can introduce yourself with. The ridicule with a name like that, especially for a foreigner, must be quite heavy... :(

If you ever did want to do that, you could always PM me. I'd be glad to help find you something more fitting.

When I went to go read about it (it looks ******* awesome), I realized that the dev of the game, KingHeftig, just joined our DF group today 0_o How random is that?!

Holy **** man, thanks for the Siege of Turtle Enclave alpha! It must be pretty damn good if you felt like supporting it like that. I'm really excited to try it out! I'll let you know what I think once I do, for sure, and will probably end up writing a review as well. Thanks again, brother, that was super awesome of you!

Hey man, everybody's got to start somewhere! The difference between mining and channeling might be a bit of a challenge, but you're already well on the road to building a fortress dwarves would be proud of ;P

My succession game (which can be found in the forums) has been going amazingly. Some people have voted it the most entertaining succession game currently on Bay 12--I'd be hard pressed to disagree. It's generated a lot of interest, and a lot of people are playing. Extremely fun!

I haven't checked it out for well over a month; it's not very active.

I'm sure a lot of people would. Toady is already making approximately 40-50k USD/year on donations alone through Bay 12, though. It's been discussed a lot on the boards. From what I've seen, the consensus thinks DF isn't quite an appropriate Kickstart, given that it's been around for years and Toady already programs it full-time. He's able to live decently enough, and people that love the game enough check out the site and donate through that :-)

Yeah, but it wasn't updated on Desura until a few days ago. That, and it came out RIGHT after my last article (which combined two versions because of how quickly THEY were released, which was immensely annoying). Truth be told, I didn't realize how long this new update would take, as in the past they tend to come out once every two weeks or so. This next version is REALLY overhauling the game, and there's not a solid projected time for when the next update is coming out. So there you have it, Lord Hart!

Hahaha, looks like brewing is pretty important ;P
