Hi there Tyler. Glad to hear from you, but I'm afraid we aren't in need of Java programmers. Even though it is also an Object Oriented programming language, we use C++ in the development of our game.
As for where to look for a foothold, maybe doing oriented searches on the web can help.I never had any inclination to use Java for such effect, so I don't know how to point you in the right direction.
