take the terran battle cruiser for example, it has multiple guns firing at different, plus the editing you can do in this thing, i dont think it should be a problem, i wil however want all guns of the same battery shooting the same target, we will go with what looks best while still maintaining balance on par with the table top
theres no specular on it , so its rather bland, im only bringing it into game as a doodad, not a unit, just for testing purposes.
oviously BFG will be in space, no floating platforms, so it will be easy to see against the black of space!

yes we will be adding fighters and bombers, very essencial parts of BFG in my book!

scale is not defined just yet, you may or may not know but battlefleet gothic does have fighter/bomber craft that launch from alot of ships, i want to include these without going too small, but yes i am aware of ships being too big and filling the screen, i was zoomed in here too

the background cant be fixed due to the way its done in supcom were waitin for the devs to fix it, i got the same prob on mine :(
yeah that does seem to be a virus effecting all the bfg mods, dont worry weve been immunized :)
on a personal note if i did have to give up for any reason id put it off untill at least after our first release so you will get something out of us :P i will also offer up all the source assets to anyone who wishes to continue the mod as long as original credit is given.
the best way to learn LUA for supcom is to actually mod the actual game code, its all well and good learning lua but im not sure how much lua is used, most of what ive seen is all simple stuff, i dont know any lua so to speak but i know whats needed for a new unit and how the different bit effect it.
weve currently got 2 coders just starting, people i know in real life, plus me dabling, so i cant say i need any more right now but ill keep you in mind for the future.
realling looking for an unwrap artist so i can spend more time on modeling.

for one of the best supported games for modding and the easiest game ive ever moded i cant for the life of me figure out why theres so little mods, the game has huge potential to be turned into anything!

BUT..... there are no decent designs or pics to work off for all the races, but they all do have fighters of some sort.
Trust me i would rather have the true deigns and names but its not posible,
on the bright side it gives people something there familier with and also keeps true to the racial designs.

i may have 2 coders 1 of which may do textures too, these are people i know in RL so this will help the mod much more than someone over the internet, it also helps that both of these people are 40k fanatics too lol

indeed, but supreme comannder can take them, since we wont have several hundreds of models like in the original game and not much of a base, we can have higher numbers to display BFG in all its glory!
