Hmm, after playing for a bit, I noticed that during battle and in the overworld text alerts on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen aren't there.

I tried a couple things myself to fix it, like unchecking the alerts in the menu, then rechecking them, but that didn't help.

I don't know if this is even the right area to be posting this, but forgive if I didn't see it, but I didn't see an article for posting problems.

What are you doing here? I thought you were one of Cozur's lackeys. Have you decided you prefer this mod, or are you just on both sides of the fence?

Nobody seems to have a corrupt save, but I do. I saved outside of Qohor after buying some Unsullied, and turned off for the night. When I logged back in in the morning, when the game started to launch after I loaded my character, it crashed with a "not responding" error. I tried again twice more with the same outcome.

This seems important if a save can be corrupted. It's still beta, so I do understand.

I'm running Windows 8.1, (if that helps), and running the A World of Ice and Fire Beta 7 Final module.

Does anyone know where to recruit the male wildlings at? The villages only give me females, and they can't become final-tier archers or cavalry.

I've seen Mance Rayder and the other Wildling lords using male wildling units, but for the life of me, I can't find where to recruit them.

The Night's Watch is sure giving me a good lickin' without those units.

It's very stable. It's never crashed on me, anyway.

You would most likely find it jammed in Cozur's rectum.

I don't feel entitled, I feel as if Cozur is just demonstrating to the world that it doesn't matter how he treats people; as long as his mod is popular, he can continue to act like he does, which is just depressing.

Hmm, does this mod have battle continuation? I.E. After you die, the battle continues without your men "dragging you away"?

Hi, I downloaded your mod yesterday, and I immediately had problems. Of course, I decided to look into the problem myself, but I couldn't find a solution.

So I uninstalled Empire: Total War and ACW, then reinstalled Total War first, then ACW 3.4.

I followed the install instructions from that link: Twcenter. net

The game got MUCH farther than it did before, where I would get an error message just from clicking on a faction to play.

Now, I can choose a faction, but when I start up the game, I crash immediately; regardless of whether or not I choose RTI or Warpath.

The install video from that Twcenter link NEVER mentioned I had to install the Warpath DLC; but I'm starting to wonder if that's the issue here. If so, then the tutorial video needs to be updated. If not, then I don't know what to do anymore. I've gone through ALL the forums on Google, and I've only managed to get one step closer to actually playing the game.

That's normal. In Native, whenever you conquer a castle or city, it's kind of annoying when you can only recruit, for example, Vaegirs from Shapeste, when you are the Nord faction. Wouldn't it be nice to recruit Nords from Nord villages, even if those villages used to belong to someone else? Well, that's what that is.

The Dornish crossbowmen don't have a melee weapon, but the skirmishers, one rank below them, do? What kind of b.s. is that?

Alright sir, since you're upgrading to a crossbowman today, I'm going to need you to turn in your sword, please.

Seriously? That makes no sense at all, not to mention the random troops trees of all factions in general.

You still didn't answer my question - what did I do?

The full version isn't out yet, so I'm going to hold back on a full review until then. However, I do have a couple of things to point out until then.

1)Not all muskets would be reloaded at the same speed. Putting aside the fact that every person is different, and some will reload the muskets faster (which isn't practical for warband mods) there were fast-loading muskets even at that time. Those were called dragoon rifles (but I'm sure you already know that...)

2)I see pirate garb in the game, but no pirates. I find that strange; unless the pirates are REALLY rare, because I've been playing this mod for a couple of months now, and I've never found any.
