This looks great you guys. I wish you the best of luck this project. I'll be watching and seeing how it develops :D
Yea so far so good. I'm getting to publish an Iphone game to the app store and if it does well then port over to android. I would love to make some content for this mod but graduation is in 4 weeks and the stress levels are almost peaked out lol I see this stick around for a good while though so maybe coming up :D
Hey guys. The project is looking great. Its awesome to see the progress that you all are making :D
Thank you I'm glad I was able to help. I use this technique on major structures in the game. Obviously you wouldn't want to lightmap every single little rock and pebble in your scene (trust me I tried it lol) but to be honest I haven't really seen a huge effect on performance. Remember too much of something good turns bad so light map within reason, you wouldn't want to use a 1024 lightmap on a desk or small objects.
Thats awesome. I'm glad I was able to help :D
Very Nice :) Top 100. I know we can go better than that. Just wait til we get back on here :D
Nice job bro. I like the ambiance that this gives off. The screams really add something to the sound, as you listen to the great music the screams just bring you back to realize that you are in a zombie infestation
O yea deffiantely I'll post things up as we progress. Just make sure to check my moddb page :)
O yea this semester there's an insane amount of work that we are doing. We have to build a custom mod in the unreal 3 engine based on guild lines that we are given by the instructor(the producer). Ryan is in charge of level design and I'm in charge of the environmental art. Should really turn out to be a great project.
thx bro glad you like it
Dont worry, this is just the beginning
Thx for the feedback Daz and for the ref images. I'll look into making a revised version soon.
Thanks guys, I'm glad you guys like the texturing. If at anytime you guys have any suggestion on things you want to see more or less of send me a message all suggestions are very much welcomed :)
lol That was too funny. Sunday will indeed be a gran day for all you who have patiently been waiting :D
Do we get tired of hearing that lol. Good thing we won't have to hear it in about a week. V.1.50 shall be up in all it's glory for you you guys to enjoy :)
James you did a sweet job of animating the shotgun.
lol yea I was hesitant about commenting, I couldn't tell if it was sarcasm. Situation Outbreak is now in effect.
Thanks for your input. I believe the way it was recorded made things look a bit darker than they actually are.
Currently, for now, it's just the flashlight. In future releases flares or flare guns may make an appearance :)
The name of the school is The Art Institute of Tampa, it's a branch of the Miami International University of Art and Design.
Currently there are roughly about 10 of us from the school working on Situation Outbreak.
Thanks guys, Glad you guys enjoyed it. Just wait til you're slicing up zombies with it :)
Add me when ever you get a free minute :)
The file that I received had bones and everything set up for a custom animation. I believe that Ryan was working on a custom one.
