Some things I spotted right away that were off in the map:
Mali/Mauretanian border,
Romanian/Ukrainian border along the Black Sea,
Bangladeshi/indian border,
Vietnamese/Cambodian border,
Kashmir (needs to be divided up between India/Pakistan/China along the de-facto borders).

Other than that, good job.

The problem is that the confederate flag represents separatism, which goes against the idea of a unified american nation-state. You could instead use a slightly modified version of the "National Socialist Movement"'s party flag, removing the letters "NSM" from the flag.

Are you including the Somali Civil War? I know you're focusing on the Middle East and Ukraine, so I've actually added it with all the events, a new country(Al-Shabaab) and OOBs for all the bookmarks, including the ones not yet in the game. (If you've already added it into the game then nevermind). I've also been working on the Northern Mali Conflict, if that also already isn't in the game.

Two more things, the Production AI need some tweaking. The AI seems to be a bit crazy when it comes to building Infrastructure(mainly the african nations and Afghanistan). It just looks a bit weird when Uganda has better infrastructure than Japan by 2002. The build times should also be drastically increased for infrastucture. The AI also loves to spam out hundreds of Garrison brigades if at war(might be because they lack the tech to build anything else, as I've only seen it happen with african nations, but still, even if say Namibia is at war, it shouldn't be able to build 50 Garrison brigades over the course of a year.)

Good luck.

Are you doing more? What are you doing next if so? I think we oob creators should coordinate better. I have so far done Botswana, Namibia, East Timor, Fiji, Peru, Ghana and of course Chile. I'm planning on doing South Africa or Colombia next.

Alright, I've done Chilean, OOB now and I'm working on the mexican, Cuban and Algerian OOBs aswell. My question is though, how detailed/accurate do you want it to be? For Chile this wasn't a problem, as their full OOB was easy to find. As for Mexico, their system is built on battalions and military zones. Most zones were about equal to a division, however, some are equal to two or more. I divided the zones into several divisions and made the zones into corps, is that close enough? As for Cuba and Algeria I was unable to find names for anything below division/brigade level, and in Algeria I was also unable to find the location of the divisions(although I know in what military region their in).

So far it looks great! I have a question though, would it be ok if I was to make a Cold War sub-mod for this? All the credits for the map and politics would ofc. go to you.

Well, It'll just make wars take like 50 years. All the casualties would be civilians instead of soldiers. Robots are renewable, humans are not. No matter how many machines you loose in the war, you have no reason to give up since you havent actually taken any losses in terms of human resourses, witch still is and probably will remain the most important resource. Strategic bombing of cities and the production would be the only way to in the end win the war. Machines are expensive, and richer countries will just be able to run over poorer countries, just like in the 1800s(although now we have the UN and nuclear weapons, so it's unlikely). In the end, not much would actually be gained in terms of minimizing bloodspill, in my opinion. Robots would probably also be **** at guerilla combat and close quarters combat, that atm. are the most common types of warfare.

Iäv seen this in other mods. Wouldnät just decreasing the size of each infantry brigade down to 100 soldiers, and scaling manpower costs down to suit it better be possible? Renaming brigades "companies" and divisions "battalions" would of.c be neciccary. Russia nowadays only has 6 full-size divisions, and to make the Syrian Civil War to scale would mean that Syria would only be like 5 or 6 provinces in total, and the French army hasnät even had divisions since 1999. In the game each brigade already has a "strength" stat(basically representing the number of soldiers in that unit) that for infantry is set to 3000. Canät you just scale it down?

Iäv barely done any modding myself, but I thought that a change like this wouldnät be to hard to do.

As always, Good luck.

Will the new units be battalion size, regiment size, brigade size or division size? Battalion size, or even an even smaller organisation would make alot more sense with the modern setting aswell as greatly increase the amount of tactical and strategic choises you can make.

Good luck.

joshuacw2009 - - 39 comments @ 9/11 Events - Official Story vs The Truth

For about 3 hours after watching the video I belived in the fact that it must have been a job by the government, but after doing some physics/Mathmatics, the theory part about how the towers fell felt flat. I do agree with the idea of a bomb is a possibility and that the US government might have been behind it, but it started to seem more and more unlikely the more I thought about it.

And now, something that I didn't want to bring up, but the fact is that there are people saying that the Holocaust was a conspiracy. Now, both of us I am quite sure can agree on that the holocaust happened and that it was the/one of the worst crimes in human history, there were probably actualy less people that lived after the war that had wittnessed the camps in germany, poland etc than there were people seeing the planes crash into the WTC. I could be wrong about the numbers, but the concept is nevertheless the same. I do not compare you to the nazies, I'm comparing one conspiracy with another. I accept your ideas but do not think that it is correct. Only time will tell.

Here is a couple of videos and a link I thought were interesting: Debunking911.com

And, if you didn't want a discussion, why make such a long post?
Still very exited about the mod, let's just hope people won't get turned away by your view on this matter.

For a future beta, implementing a "military budget" would make the game quite more realistic. The idea that I have(may not fit in with your idea) is that the higher you put you military budget at, the higher your unit cap will be(something you would have to implement).
Of course this is only an idea, but making money a bigger part of the game is probably quite important for realism, since most nations'(NK is an exeption) army sizes like sweden's are heavly based on how much money is put in to it. Sweden's army for example(IRL) only has about 1-3 brigades, while the nation's population and recources can support maybe 10-20 brigades. Instead our government(I'm from Sweden) has chosen to spend it's money on healthcare(best in the world), high pensions, high subsidies and the school system(not that great... at all)

Hrm, I do agree with everything but I doubt the US started the Libyan civil war, what was there to gain? libya isn't a rich country, there isn't mutch oil to speak of and not counting the Toyota war there wasn't any bad relations between the nations until Libya broke the restrictions set up by several nations regarding the airspace over Libya. I just can't see how you can blame the US for making Gaddafi shooting at peaceful demonstrations. And, right now in europe Russia is the only one making the moves, since EU and the US is weak when it comes to responding to things they didn't start themselves.

While I agree that Iraq was one of the worst political lies and most pointless conflicts the last 10 years, the war in Libya was NOT started by America(NATO) they simpley used airplanes and ships to prevent Gaddafi from using his airforce against the rebels(they did do more, but it was the other coalition members who did the most). I do not support the US, but like this person here said I'd be more careful regarding the russian Regime. Just look at the Russian propaganda in eastern Ukraine(And Crimea). Shure, there are more fascists in the Kiev/Kyiv government than before, but there is by no means a Fascist regime there. On Crimea the only news that the people got was russian. And how the **** can Putin say that the Ukraine government attack on seperatists is Illegal when he invaded Chechnya that wanted to become independent. But of course there is the CIA-supported military coups in Iran and in Chile that put dictators on the throne during the cold war. So, all in all both nations are filled with propaganda and lies, but when it comes to modern politics I am still more sceptical to russia than the US.
