Each Year we celebrate the heroes of ww2 by having a D-Day event.
This Year will be no different eventhough we are having rough times.
Somehow we allways manage to stay alive and it's partly because of YOU.
YOU really make the difference !
The D-day event will start Thursday the 5th of June and go on
until the 6th of June.
Operation Overlord spans over months so there might be some
surprises after the 6th of June.

many and many maps from PFC mappacks are not playable in single player/coop mod.
But as you know the best experience (experiment) in game is in multi-player mod. You can play all FH and PFC maps on PFC FH server (it is the FH server most populated in Europa about FH Mod)

Good morning all Comrades!

Excellent news and a very big "thank you" to FH2 devs about their nice job!
New FH2 launcher is well done and easy to use.

I just have checked (verified) that the launcher is 100% compatible with Windows 8.1 64-bit OS (it is able to automatically change the write permission in the directory where "battlefield 2" is installed) and this fact is also excellent because you do not deactivate UAC on windows 8 (8.1) for example. This is better about security.
And no compatibility problem now!

FH is at 99% compatible with BF1942 Origin version with windows 7 and also Windows 8, windows 8.1 (all versions 32-bit or 64-bit).
For the best issue you can install BF1942 "origin version" (and FH and all Mods that you want)not on C (note: On C your OS is installed) but on another partition of your HDD (example: on D (with D is different of C).

You do (must) only download Client CORE and Client LEVELS
After you install as an administrator in this order:
1. Client CORE
2. Client LEVELS
3.Restart your PC.
Note: After that you can also download and install as an administrator :
OPK 0.41 official Fanpatch
Remember at this time (2014 February 01) you cannot play OPK in single player mod and you cannot play OPK in cooperation mod.
But dev "Da Wallace" is working on a patch. This patch will be a SP/COOP fix. Be patient this patch will be realized in the future. But at this time you can play online on OPK server and it is a very nice game with nice maps and also vehicles.
Note: If some maps crash on desktop be sure you do that:
1.Click mouse's right button on OPK shortcut
2. In compatibility tab select only:
Run this program as an administrator.
3.Restart your PC.
4. Run OPK and try to join a server.
Note: if you have again CTD=crash to desktop:
Click mouse's right button on OPK shortcut
In compatibility tab select:
"Windows XP SP3"
Restart your PC again then try to join a server.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen!
I can say all my congratulations about excellent devs job (work).
As now I always says for Battlefield 2 Mods in 2014 (because many of our new players know only "modern and recent games like BF3 and BF4 for example" and unfortunately these new games are not mod-able and are not map-able) and many of them do not know excellent Mods about ancient (old) battlefield games series (like BF1942;BF Vietnam;BF2;BF2142).
I think the only way to know excellent Mods about these games is to create Mods playable in single player mod and also in cooperation mod (very important to play also in LAN) .

But now I have a suggestion (I know it is a new hard job for Aix2 Expansion miniMod devs).
I think it will be a good thing that you create new factions like NATO armies ; Russian army; Rebels army of Caucasus republics (cause in 2014 there are many potentials conflict in Caucasus).
I also suggest you could create Serbian army (cause as you know there are conflicts at Kosovo borders).

You made (did) a very good job about your Mod.
I think it is better than "Battlefield 2 and its addon special forces"
I tested your Mod in single player and all maps are running fine (no crash on desktop)
In 2014 I think it is very important when people create Mods that these Mods are play-able in single player mod but also in "cooperation mod" (in this eventuality it is very nice for LAN party)

yes of course you can play many maps in single player mod but the best issue is in "cooperative (cooperation) mod".
For that do:
Run "gw"
In gw menu select:
Multiplayer
Create local
Cooperation
About max player select "1"
About "Number of bots" select "48"
About "Bot ratio" select "50"
Choose a map
Click "START SERVER"
