I've done two so far that stood out to me as really needing it, but I don't expect I'll do too many more. There's a ton of them, and probably something like ESRGAN or Gigapixel would be the best way to improve them all.
Glad you've got it working, but I still wish I knew the cause. Oh well. I should try out opentexmod.
Is your game folder located anywhere within Program Files or Program Files (x86)? If it is, Texmod won't work.
Your game is definitely not installed anywhere in Program Files or Program Files (x86)? I've not personally found any problems that weren't caused by the game being in a folder with restricted access. Just to be clear, is the game launching but without changes, or failing to launch entirely?
I don't think there's a way to extract my textures from the .TPF file, but it would be possible to export textures from the game, modify them, create another .TPF file, and use that to override mine.
At the top of the Addons page, there's a little plus that should say "add addon" when you hover over it. That takes you to the page where you upload the file, an image, and any other relevant info. I believe I've set it so that any user can do this.
I'd be honored if you'd put them in the addons section of this mod. But it's up to you, of course.
I chose not to go that route because I thought the new textures would look odd with the old helmet shape, but that is VERY impressive.
This looks wonderful. I'll definitely keep an eye on this.
I really appreciate the offer, but I think the project is more or less done at this point. I'm basically satisfied with every character as I have it currently, though I'm sure I'll continue to make tiny changes here and there.
The download doesn't seem to be working for me at the moment. I'll try reuploading it later if it's not fixed by then.
I think I've figured it out. Texmod apparently doesn't work if the game is inside either of the main Program Files folders. If you move the installation elsewhere, it should work.
It looks to me like if your Lego Star Wars Saga installation is in Program Files, Texmod is unable to work. I've confirmed this on my laptop. Even if I run Texmod as an administrator, it does nothing. On my main computer I have Lego Star Wars installed on another drive and it works. Even another folder outside of Program Files should work. I realize this is not convenient.
I don't *think* they have to be somewhere specific, but I'm not completely positive. I'm going to try some things on another computer and see what happens. It's possible that Texmod can't modify the game if the game is inside of the Program Files folder.
I get that too if I don't start Steam before running the game. Could that be the problem?
This comparison brought to my attention that I accidentally changed Lando's skin color. It's since been fixed.
I've just thought of one more idea, but it's a long shot. You might want to try using Umod, which is the successor to Texmod. I've never tried using it because it looks a bit more complicated, but it's possible it will work when Texmod won't.
I can think of a few things it might be, but they're only guesses. It's possible that your antivirus is blocking Texmod. If you own the game through Steam, Steam needs to be running when you launch the game, but it still must be launched using Texmod. Somebody on the internet said you need to run the game at least once unmodded before it will work. Some people have had trouble with it on Windows 10, but I'm not sure it's a factor since I also use Windows 10. Make sure that Texmod is in Package Mode (I believe it defaults to this anyway but i didn't mention it in the description). I'm not sure if any of these are the problem you're having, but I hope you're able to get it working!
Magnificent, aren't they?
Can't wait, this looks fantastic!
Both weapons appeared in AOTC.

I for one would love to see this mod brought into the real world. I've always had sort of a fascination with World War I and think it would be amazing to be able to play it out on the battlefields of Europe in Mount and Blade.
This is a screenshot from EA Battlefront...
Definitely bad performance. I really hope you come up with something better!
This is everything I've ever wanted in a World War II game, and one of the best, if not THE best Doom mod ever.
