due to family and work obligations it has been shelved by me over a year and a half ago.. In the meantime I have transfered the rights to manage this site and develop the contnet further to a group of enthusiasts, who will luckily bring it all forward. As far as my knowledge goes all is being polished and organised from the ground up, towards a stable build. Hopefuly the new owners of the mod will post news, I myself do not follow this at all for quite a time now.

Functionality is limited and some textures are missing due to dependecy on ArmAII file structure, but it's surely a very good sign! :)

Actually these are PolskiFiat cars. The 'jeep' is a 508W 'Łazik' developed in Poland by PzInż and is merely a modification of the civilian Balilla version of the Fiat 508 1935 model. Italians had their own version of it; Fiat508CM Coloniale

Also, if authenticity is your aim, you should replace the 621L with Fiat 626NM, which was the standard Italian truck of WW2:

Daje radę, ale skąd pomysł na tak fikcyjne malowanie? (poza tym , garnizonowe patki wyjściowe na kołnierzu w drelichu to też mała przeginka) ;)

Still missing a shadow-LOD on this picture, but specular and bump maps are done ;)

It may give you better view in 1st person perspective when your windshield is too broken, otherwise, it's just an eye-candy.

Unfortunately, it seems nothing can be done in this engine to prevent foliage from coming through the models... (or I just still need to learn how it's done)

Learning to make bump-maps... while it's fairly easy to with metal surfaces, car parts etc. it requires some training when it comes to fabric.... No sharp edges and curvy shapes are much harder to do.

It is ArmA. :) I may have had some filters set in the editor (can't tell if it was one of the Invasion'44 or Namalsk modules though, can't remember)

Yes it was used, but in small numbers. Poland, already in the first half of 1920's, managed to sell large batches overseas to Latin America or other countries. Far more better Browning designs were chosen to replace it. Some few numbers remained deep in storage or were in service with some rear units though.

As always loving to get new updates and news from the development team. You guys work really hard and with dedication to reach the full potential offered by the engine. Once available to the public it will surely be a keeper for many years to come (just like BridgeCommander that is constantly an obligatory install on my HDD since 2002).

Waiting patiently for it to be done the way it was meant to be. Don't rush anything; we'll still have the NanoFX viewer to toy with while we wait.

Yes, despite earning a rather bad name during the occupation (the Polish Police force has not been disbanded by the Nazis but forced to serve along them as a support force) in September 1939 Police units did put up resistance worth mentioning.

Wz.39 MORS (latin: Death)submachinegun.

Similar in it's general construction to it's other european counterparts like the MP35 or Suomi, very much like the later Soviet PPSh. The additional wooden grip sported a metal telescope monopod for stabilization.
