My name is Jared Koncsol and I'm a recent graduate from Auburn University with a B.A. in media studies and minor in creative writing. I'm messaging you in lieu of the Discord, as it seems to be down. I am very interested in contributing to your visual novel. I have been screenwriting and writing creatively for about five years now, and have several sample pieces with a variety of tones for you to view at Jaredkoncsol.wordpress.com. I'm looking to get a start in the video game writing field, and feel I have the background and passion for games that will facilitate my success as a game writer. I've been exploring writing in the interactive medium on my own time, but I would love to work with your team of developers to produce a substantial and comprehensive work.
Aside from my writing capabilities (and fluency in English!), I work well as part of a team and am really looking to get some experience working with game developers. I'm a big fan of visual novels and think that interactivity in storytelling is one of the most unique combinations out there. Beyond the technical skill displayed in my writing samples, I think my biggest strength is my ability to conceptualize and continuously develop ideas throughout the writing process. It's important to me to always make sure I keep the "creative" in creative writing.
