On it right now actually! I'm releasing a patch in the next few hours that will have a bunch of balancing changes - one of those will be an increase in the overall health of all marine squads with the exception of Terminators. Scouts will be up from 600 to 700 health, and all standard marine squads will be up from 1300 to 1500. There's some other stuff too, essentially in an effort to make marines tankier in the early game but less overwhelming in the late game. (Also a couple much needed Eldar nerfs/fixes)

Truth be told I didn't know there would be demand for a rhino storm bolter! I'll give it one as an upgrade.

The warlock one actually totally skipped my mind! I apologize, I forgot to swap that over to the more interesting looking model. I'll release a patch soon with some other fixes / balance changes, and with it the Warlock hero will now use his fancy helmet, the standard Warlock addons to squads will use basic common armour, and the Seer Council will use what are defined as 'rare' ones right in the middle.

As for the bolters, I actually wanted them to fire that fast - that was inspired by the Astartes animation, although I may lower it to a quick burst-fire rather than long bursts.

Harlequins shouldn't lock out like that - interesting bug. I'll look into it!

Just checking, did you add -modname Eternal to your Retribution directory as noted in the readme? I apologize, I had forgotten to also add this to the notes on the download itself until just now, but give that a shot.

Also, verify it was installed in the correct directory - if you look in your Dawn of War II - Retribution directory, you should see a folder named Eternal and a file called Eternal.module in the main directory itself - if they are not there, it may have been installed in the wrong location. Note that the installer defaults to a C drive installation and the path would need to be altered if you have it installed elsewhere.

EDIT: oh my god i forgot to add it to the readme...uploaded it again with a fixed one, but yeah just follow through with these instructions otherwise XD

-modname Eternal is the line you want to put into your launch options!

-dev is a line used for, as you might have guessed, development or debug stuff, and you don't want "" <- quotations around Eternal as it will literally look for a mod named "Eternal" (with quotations). So just try -modname Eternal - i'll also put that in the description of this file download for future reference, apologies about that

EDIT: oh my god i forgot to add it to the readme...uploaded it again with a fixed readme XD

Renegade Guardsmen will absolutely be a thing when Chaos gets added! Tbh I'm not certain we have an autogun model, but I definitely want to add one because it'll just add a bit more flavor. The more weapons, the merrier!

That's an interesting idea! I'll definitely take those into consideration, but tbh I have no clue what they'll ultimately be called - they may just remain a generic 'infantry company' and 'armoured company' for all I know. Still, I do like those names!

None yet, apologies! Still a work in progress - expect a playtest to be out within the next couple of months!
