These days we’re working on Mona Lisa, a heist & forgery game set in Renaissance Italy.
Follow us and maybe we'll all learn something :)
Holy crap, I’m at EGX. And it’s as huge as it ever was, almost overwhelmingly so.
I say “as it ever was” but in reality, I have no idea what “as it ever was” constitutes. See, I attended [last year’s EGX /link to blog post if there is one] with Team17… Schrödinger’s Cat had just launched, and I had a fat stack of Schrödinger Coins to give away, which in no uncertain terms were the top swag of the show, ask anybody.
The thing was, I was so determined to shove SC in as many people’s faces as possible that I barely saw anything else in the entire show except my tiny cubicle (and my Best Platformer award from Sticktwiddlers, can’t forget that). I don’t think I left my station. Not even for pee breaks, I just waited until everyone was looking the other way and went in the half empty bottles of Lucozade left behind by gamers. NO I DID NOT THAT IS JUST GROSS.
This year I actually get to enjoy the show, which means I’ll probably play some Tetris in the retro corner, scoff at whatever Massively Massive MassivePlayer First Massive Exploratory Massive Sandbox Shooter everyone is drooling about, get my kids an Adventure Time hat, and hang out with the Teamsters at Team17 for a bit. They’re good folk.
Hey, if I’m only manning a booth half the time, I may even have time to update the dev blog. Like I’m doing right now! Stay tuned for hilarious insights into the gaming world: Mountain Dew, particle effects and beard fleas, amirite?
Will post more about this when it's ended. But if some of you guys are attending, would love to hear from you :)
