is this mod still active?

i also got this error, when trying to start the game (v1.7.2.1):

i am using LA at all with unpacked gamedata... what other mods should i play? i have only Lost Alpha Installed with no other mods...except the F2 and F3 spawn /TP !

i have ver 1.4002dc.
after 1st heli is down, petrenko and his 2 officers are still alive, i can see them close to me in the hangar and green highlighted on map. but after the 2nd heli is down, they suddenly vanished. even when i am close standing to them. and on map there are 3 white dots. but i can find them down in the bar. but petrenko has no option to finish the quest! also on other quest, the door down to the basement to Voronin is still closed. the guard on entrance will not open. what can i do to open? then, on other quest, when i have to go to Sakharov, he stands way too far behind the desk, so that i cant hit the F key to talk. i also have to use the wallhack cheat demo_record to fix this...

stuck at petrenko mission. after shot the second heli, petrenko teleports to the bar, and we cant complete quest...
