Very nice, can't wait for a beta release in the future.

How do you get your settings to look so good? I run 1080p, all Ultra and it doesn't seem to match that. Great models!
You are a godsend, thanks so much!
Hey guys, a friend and I have tried using T3A and followed all the steps, yet we still get the update notice after hooking. Anyone have a fix? I have tried admin and compatibility settings.
Thanks.
Absolutely awesome work guys. Can't wait!
Great job so far guys. My group of 8 friends used to play 3.8.1 every weekend in a LAN setting. It was very fun. Eagerly awaiting 4.5 and onward.
YES!
Just fantastic!
YEAH BOY.
Looking forward to it! Glad the invasion times were set lower, and the new models are looking fantastic. Also like that the Valyrian weapons are slightly longer.
This is great, and adds some character to the characters we're used to. Keep up the good work. Can't wait for 5.0.
All this LOTR: The Third Age content is making me really happy, glad to see that game brought back to life in this wonderful mod.
Congrats gentlemen!
Just want to say great work everyone, runs great and plays better. Balanced and fun. Really impressed with your work ethic and the teams responsiveness. Can't wait for the elves!
Game engine is not the most optimized, so in short, yes your specs are fine. You will however run into lag like everyone else for the most part when lots of units are on screen, effects are going off etc. Seems to run well on high/ultra in single player, but I've only had success with medium to very low settings in multiplayer.
ONE RING TO RULE THEM ALL, ONE RING TO FIND THEM, ONE RING TO BRING THEM ALL, AND IN THE DARKNESS BIND THEM. IN THE LAND OF MORDOR WHERE THE SHADOWS LIE.
(INTERNALLY SCREECHING)
Just in time. Can't wait to get back into it.
Just in time for Season 7. Thanks!
Having trouble equipping freelancers. I choose the gear out of their inventory, but it only equips the chest piece and a spiked mace no matter what I choose. Pretty upsetting, sometimes they don't even want to put any armor on.
Looking good, will continue following AoTR mod as well. :)
Even after roughly 11 years of this game being out, I still have something to look forward to everyday. Your guys' models are the best, and the game play looks superb. Can't wait to get my hands on this as time progresses, Edain for now. :)
I second that notion, I feel that while naval combat isn't always viable depending on the map, its something that gets left out in most mods and has a lot to offer.
I agree, and don't care what is implemented. Just an idea I thought was neat, perhaps for another mod or later on.
Now hear me out, (I realize this won't happen but I thought it would be neat, and haven't seen it yet.) An Eriador faction? Their special feature could be that they acquire slightly higher resources than the rest of the factions, due to caravans (ability) and inns (special resource building that provides certain upgrades) as their fighting force is not as strong as other factions. It would have a very old world, very medieval village look that would be appealing to look at as well as be lore friendly. Walls encased in patches of vines, thatched roofed houses, etc.
Guardians of Eriador would be your longsword wielding dunedain with the ability to wear heavy armor, forged blades, etc. Fast light cavalry, and fast light infantry and archers for regular dunedain as ambushers and skirmishers. Breeland Guards could be spear infantry. Maybe mercenaries or merchants as another set of troops (all just ideas) Houses and inns would serve as resource buildings and produce resources more passively. Blacksmith would produce heavy armor (leather for light, and plated for guardians) and Dunedain blades or Old blades. (just a fancier name for forged blades)
Halbarad, Gandalf the Grey, and a few hobbit heroes could be added. Skill trees wouldn't be that hard to come up with. Salted Pork, Longbottom Leaves, random caravan reinforcements from different factions, etc. Relics of Old - upgrades Dunedain troops late game to receive heavier armor or passively do more damage.
I mean there's just an untapped amount of ideas that could be implemented with an Eriador faction. There probably wasn't enough men in the region to actually form large armies, but an interesting idea none the less. I realize with the progress that has been made with the other factions, that this would be more of a nuisance considering some of these things are scattered about the different factions. I hope this suggestion/comment can spark some interest in Eriador,as I've always wanted to see a Ranger-esque faction. :)
Edit: Saw a BFME1 mod somewhere that had this idea, but think its either dead or it never made it.
