Another way to do it without fidgeting with launch priority for an hour, is to change the name of the mod to literally anything else, and it lets the mod load in the launcher without crashing,

but keep in mind this causes the saves to save in a different folder because of the changed module folder

So what I had to end up doing was find a way to force the launcher to default to the 12th mod when it starts up, and then I went into configure and set load textures on demand, and then I could launch the game without it crashing in the launcher or while loading

Is it freezing at the mb_warband.exe launcher? I managed to get it to work from that state if thats what you're asking for
