"Slaughter" maps are absolute trash with no imagination, that's why. Don't know why so many DOOM mappers are obsessed with this concept. Trial-and-error is a cheap excuse for a challenge.

Ugly as sin, but has a lot of other mods included, likely without permission, that serve as a useful time capsule to create some new franken-mods out of.

Limitations with DOOM color palette. Translating other PNG color palettes into DOOM requires recoloring by hand or per picture, whereas with black and white, the mod maker can just translate all pictures at once using the same parameters. In order to ensure compatibility with more limited sourceports and to avoid extra work.

Absolutely BADASS. There was a lot of love put into this baby. I have grabbed alternative editions from other sources and NONE have been able to run flawlessly in GZDoom 4.10.

This compile is CHOICE. Thank you so much to the author of the upload AND the entire Project Brutality team!

Wrong mod. Brutal Doom is developed by a different team. Project Brutality is entirely different in scope and aspect.
