Are you using the latest pre-built release of CoD4x server? If so, thats the issue, refer to above in comments; you need to build the server to get the latest changes of CoD4x server, and that should fix your issue.

Hopefully CoD4x releases an update eventually.

Treyarch prevents stats from saving when loading a mod, to get around this, i provided a 'patch_mp.ff' and 'patch_ui_mp.ff' which contains the mod inside.

You can overwrite these files in the 'Zone/Common' folder (backup the originals).

And when you boot the game, the mod will be loaded by default, just go play combat training (without going into the mod menu) and you should be able to rank up.

yes, this mod shouldn't conflict with any files

GSC is coming eventually, so it'll def be written using that.

you can generate your own 'steamless' version of the game using your 'steam' exe. look at the github

The vanilla game doesn't have all the features that this mod needs, thats why it requires the extra install steps

make sure that you got iw4x version 0.6.1 or higher

I got no control over the development of the XInput branch of IW4x

its developed separately and privately whereas iw4x is open source
